Smoky Mountain Retreat-Peaceful & Private Stay

Smoky Mountain Retreat is a rural escape hidden away in a quiet corner of Metchosin. Pour your morning coffee, make your way onto the expansive patio and be greeted by the panoramic views of sprawling green forests, the Pacific Ocean and the snow capped Olympic Mountains as you relax & rejuvenate in the hydrotherapeutic hot tub.

This exquisite new home was built by the owner with the mindset of being as environmentally conscious and complimentary to the natural surroundings as possible. Spend your days hiking, biking, swimming and exploring, knowing all the comforts of home, including the king-sized bed & fireplace, will be waiting for you after your adventures. (Guest should know a new hydrotherapy hot tub is coming this November!)

It is important to know before booking that we co-exist with nature and animals in our space. We have three friendly family dogs that live on the property. To add, we run a small bee farm here, Smoky Mountain Apiary (distanced away from the rental space).

Idyllic and lovely!

This was an absolutely amazing, peaceful and lovely stay! The route to get here was a little winding and long, but we were rewarded with the most stunning views and clean, comfortable, and modern suite at the top. Delightful amenities and little touches awaited us and we thoroughly enjoyed the few days we spent here. I could go on and on about this stay and all the positives, but suffice it to say, it was all things wonderful and delightful! The highest recommendation for our hosts and without a doubt we would stay here again. (Make sure you pick up some of their honey...it's delicious and we gifted it to family on our return. Everyone has enjoyed it and said its some of the best honey they've ever had!)

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay at Smoky Mountain retreat. The suite was clean, comfortable, and cozy. Nicky and Rob are great hosts and very prompt. We loved the views at sunrise and sunset, and enjoyed spending time at the patio.
