Very friendly, double upgrade! Classical London hotel. High tea was excellent also

Clean and comfortable close to the central of London

We really liked the location of this hotel as it was easy to get everywhere including an easy walk through the park to Buckingham Palace. Also, Shepherd's market was just around the corner which is a very nice area with good restaurants and pubs and atmosphere. Friday night in particular was very busy and fun. We dined at Artiste Muscle in this location and I loved the tiny restaurant, watching the chef in the kitchen. Excellent menu, good prices for wine and great service. Highly recommend. Also had a very good meal at Enoteca Da Luca which is a tiny Italian restaurant with excellent charcuterie, also intimate and enjoyable atmosphere.
