"Across the road from beach. Nice pool very roomy"
Enjoy d the break but aircon would be good. Really lovely apartment with well resolved kitchen. Shame the planes fly so low over the area but would highly recommend unit 8 to anyone wanting to stay in Marcoola. Much cheaper than Noosa. I will prob stay at Noosa next time as there are more restaurants there

"Excellent location, so relaxing!"
My partner and I absolutely loved White Shells. The apartment was clean, bright, spacious and very comfortable. A terrific location within a stones throw of the beach. Stunning views of Mt coolum, coupled with the sounds of the ocean, made for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay. We will definitely be back.

"Perfect location and central to everything"
We wanted to be close to lots of things - Noosa, beach, Maroochydore and airport (don't be put off by how close the airport is - we never heard a thing!) We had 3brm Beach House - wow space everywhere - roof top was incredible and very well presented. If your adults I would suggest staying away from the pool area as its quite busy with kids in afternoons but truthfully that's the only thing I could mention. Organic coffee shop across the road, bars and eating facilities at hotels close by - walk to everything and patrolled beach. I was really happy and quietly impressed with what was a tough booking to get on a long weekend.

    Accommodation In Marcoola Beach

Marcoola is a great, peaceful perch on the Sunshine Coast from which to explore the stunning beaches, beautiful hinterlands and bustling seaside towns of the area. Positioned smack bang in the middle between Caloundra and Noosa, you’re at the heart of the long strip of sunny white shores. It’s also great if you want to stay in the one spot, stop and simply relax. With most of the accommodation right on the beachfront or just a bucket of sand’s throw away, who wouldn’t want to stay in our Marcoola accommodation?

The area around Marcoola – including nearby Twin Waters, Pacific Paradise and Mudjimba – was settled the late 1800s when it was mainly used for timber, grazing and farming. It wasn’t until the 1960s that it really began to take off as a residential area. Since then, this slice of the Sunshine Coast has only grown more and more popular! It’s not immediately visible to the eye, but once you see it you’ll never forget it! Marcoola got its name for its location between Maroochydore and Coolum.

The beach is the obvious attraction in Marcoola, which is just north of Maroochy River. Marcoola Beach has many uncrowded areas to relax on and stroll along at the end of a, well, not-so-long day when you’re here on holidays. There’s an ocean full of water activities, from sea kayaking to surfing, scuba diving and swimming, on your doorstep. Barbeques and picnic areas line the grassy parkland, perfect for cooking a snag for lunch or just a pretty spot to dig into those fish and chips. The shady trees and a children’s playground will keep everyone happy.

Other major attractions to tick off your list include the Marcoola section of the Mount Coolum National Park, and the nearby Maroochy River Conservation Park and Mudjimba Island. All around you there’s a plethora of fun, relaxing and entertaining attractions across the Sunshine Coast and in the hinterlands. It’s up to you to choose your adventure. Explore the gourmet hillside towns of Maleny and Montville, get up close to Australian wildlife at Australia Zoo, or indulge in the many bustling café and restaurant scenes lining the water’s edge. If it’s super-duper adventure you’re after, jump in a plane for a joyride of acrobatic loops – or jump out for an adrenalin rush before the parachute opens!

Just 10 minutes from the Sunshine Coast Airport, Marcoola is in a prime location to arrive by plane. To drive here, it’s just an hour and a half north of Brisbane! Just be sure to jump off the Bruce Highway and onto the Sunshine Motorway which leads you up past many of the Sunshine Coast’s great centres. With stunning beaches that aren’t overrun with crowds, access to the rest of the Sunny Coast and a range of beachfront Marcoola hotels to choose from – wot’s stopping you?
