The food was mid at best…nothing that I wanted to go back for seconds - I was hoping for better food… Also the bathroom lighting was not good for makeup applications. Other than this it was a great and relaxing vacation - the location is perfect and the people and services were wonderful.

I recently stayed at the Riu Palace Baja California, and overall, it was a fantastic experience. The resort offers stunning ocean views and beautifully maintained grounds that create a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with modern amenities that make for a comfortable stay. These staff deserves a special mention, Ruth, Lutty at the pool bar were great, hardworking and attentive! Mila at the steak house restaurant was so nice and sweet and went out of her way to ensure I felt welcomed! Liz at the buffet was so nice and always greeted me with a smile! I really like that you do not have to make reservations to eat at the other restaurants. But I suggest to always go early because you may have a wait time during prime travel time! The buffet food is good but a bit redundant! The entertainment and activities provided plenty of options to keep busy, whether you’re looking for relaxation by the pool or more active pursuits. The beach area is pristine, perfect for a peaceful walk along the shore but unfortunately it is not swimmable. You have access to the resort next door and it is where you will find all of the parties! All in all, Riu Palace Baja California is a wonderful choice for anyone looking for an all-inclusive getaway with excellent service, beautiful surroundings, and great amenities. I would definitely recommend it and look forward to returning!

The view is absolutely unreal 100/10, we had a beachfront room with balcony and I think it was worth it. What I thought was ok was the food options. The restaurants are only open for dinner time, so breakfast and lunch are at the buffet. The buffet is great and has a lot of options. We paid for the elite club and that it was good but not great. Sorry to say but definitely recommend using Ubers over taxi (cost $). It’s a short walk across the bridge you come in on to get to your uber. You can then get dropped off in front of the hotel on your way back. Definitely check out some excursions!
