The property had friendly staff, gorgeous views, a variety of food options, and we were able to be served quickly in most cases. Our only complaint would be that the mattresses and bedding were not very comfortable. Luckily, we were tired in the evenings so could fall asleep, but that is one area that we felt they could improve. Overall, we truly loved the resort and would recommend to friends.

From the time we got dropped at at the lobby by our shuttle the experience was amazing. Our check in process was great (I should have downloaded the app and did the online check in but Herberto make the process excellent. The room was what we booked and was ready for our arrival. Our first meal experience was at the Agave and it did not disappoint. The food and service was top notch. The services on site were excellent and over the course of 8 days, we did not have a single bad experience with the food, drinks or anything else for that matter. We had a couple small issues with our lights and safe but a technician was there to fix immediately. For our first trip to Cabo San Lucas, the staff at the RIU Palace Baja California made it memorable. We will definitely be returning to this hotel again and again.

I’ve never been disappointed at any Riu I’ve stayed at. The staff was super friendly. Carmen was super sweet and I forget her name at the Tropicana bar starts with a V also wonderful.

I liked the resort. I would have liked more entertainment or things to do other than so many of the pool parties. The adult only was great! We had a view of a deserted open lot to the side of the hotel. The food tasted great! I would have liked the activities of beach volleyball, aqua aerobics and cornhole to be at different times and not all at once. The employees were very nice and accommodating. I would definitely go back.

Our stay was great. Service was really great especially, food was better than expected. The rooms were clean and our view was amazing. The beds are not as comfortable as we would have liked but they were good enough. The one thing that is lacking is how watered down mixed drinks are. Once we upgraded to Elite, the drinks and food options for room service were much better. Other than that, we enjoyed our time and the entertainment provided. We walked over to the Santa Fe Riu to catch some shows so it was a bit of a walk but we enjoyed them, especially the Michael Jackson show. Overall great stay and great service and would book again with this hotel.

The place was good it was clean and food was better than expected. Very unhappy about the spa. In the rooms it says book online for the spa. I did just that booked online throu the resorts app. Received and time date and amount owed for services credit card on file. I arrive with my friend looking forward to a day at the spa. Was told upon arrival our online booking didn’t count as a reservation and is just a “suggestion “ but not a reservation but I had a screen shot of booking and time and date. Spa attendant was rude not helpful said no openings for days. Now I see why no one goes to the spa there very disappointing first vacation without my 4 kids in 9 years and couldn’t even enjoy a spa day with my friend.

The resort itself is beautiful. The food is also really good and has a lot of options to choose from. The only bad experience I had was I was missing $60 from my wallet after they cleaned my room. So don’t leave your money when they come and clean your room. Other than that the service was great and the pools all have amazing views. The bed was not that comfortable the mattress was not firm.
