This is the second time I’ve stayed here and I would come back again and again. The grounds are beautiful, the staff are extremely professional, and the food is amazing. An overall great place to recharge.

The only real drawback is the taxis and transportation. They are always trying to rip you off. Uber is the only fair and cost effective mode of transportation available.

The nice, clean room provided to us was right next to the stage. There was entertainment/parties that lasted until 1 am nearly every night. There is no chance of sleeping through it-just an FYI. Our family requested rooms together, but we were spread out and two of the rooms door locks were not fully functional. Recommendations are to ensure locks and doors are secure and guests are aware of the noise/parties late into the night. (We thought staying at the all adults would be quieter than the other two properties, but this was definitely not the case.) Staff were all very friendly. We are still unsure of what that extra room credit was available for us to use towards… If you want a pool chair, better get to the pool early-all people were reserving chairs regardless of the posted signs that it’s not allowed. We really did have a good time there-just got no sleep and had some safety concerns. Steakhouse was the best food. We wished there were better options for wine, but it’s very easy to get drinks throughout the property.

Amazing staff, very clean and nicely appointed rooms. Food was plentiful and decent quality--we really enjoyed all of the fresh fruits and healthy options! We would definitely come back again but do have to note that we are not in the 'drink as much as you can' crowd and it is possible to stay in the quieter areas. Not too sure what one would do here if you have more upscale taste when it comes to drinking beer and spirits. Buying upscale wine seems to be possible in the restaurants but not sure about other alcoholic beverages.

Just returning home from this place. My husband and I loved this place. We came there for. Quick getaway to reset and this place was everything. My only real suggestions is RIU Party needs to play more update pop and hip hop music. The atmosphere was great just missing the real vibe of the latest and greatest music. We had a time and I can't wait to come back.

Gave it 4 stars only because when I checked into my room in the fridge it was not stocked and there was 2 drinks that were open. The hotel overall was good, good food and great entertainment. The pools and service was great. The beach would of been better if the water was not so choppy and if there was not so many vendors close to the hotel

Room and service was amazing! The only thing missing was the individual restaurants inside weren’t as good, but the buffet was pretty good so made up for them. Loved the service people no asking for tip all the time like I have experienced in Cancun 😅 We were in a elite room and it was amazing with a great view.

We checked in at 3pm. Went to dinner around 8pm. Gone for less than an hour & we came back to find the cleaning staff in our room. It was 9pm at night. We hadn't even unpacked yet so there was nothing to clean. Left us both feeling very uneasy. Our room keys were deactivated the day before we checked out. Came back from dinner to find we were locked out of our room. The staff didn't offer anything besides an apology. My friend ended up with food poisoning from one of the restaurants. I'll never stay at another Riu. I vacation often & have never had such an unfortunate experience.
