We specifically called and had my son in law who speaks fluent make sure we could have family IN OUR ROOM Christmas Day! The "Security Manager" along with 3 others cornered my CHILDREN and their uncle saying absolutely not. We also got all inclusive and were charged for refilling the "complementary" snacks and each room clean, that's not all inclusive. Won't be back

This hotel was lovely. While we didn't have an ocean facing room, due to cost, our room was clean and comfortable. Meal choices were terrific-Bella California was our favorite and Tomatillo, the farm to table restaurant was amazing as well. The beach is family friendly, with plenty of lounge chairs, umbrellas, and a staff eager to bring food and drinks. The water was clean, swimmable, and the ideal place to float and play. The angle of the hotel allows for stunning sunrise and sunset viewing. Beach vendors are active, but if you sit in the second row of loungers, they don't attempt to sell as much to you. Nightly entertainment occurs and while we didn't watch a show, it was of a good quality, from what we could tell while walking by. We'd come back to this hotel.

Our room was very nice. It was very clean and comfortable. We were on the far side so it was quiet and peaceful just as we hoped for! The staff couldn’t have been more friendly and efficient. The all-inclusive buffets could have been a bit more nicer with better and more food selection. The other restaurants shouldn’t have charged up charges on food. We were also there for their NYE party and it was NOT handled very properly getting people seated. It took almost 1 hour to get seated. We were not happy at all ! But all in all staying at Villa del Palmar was very nice and we would stay again.

The staff was all around great, from the check-in desk to the housekeeping staff, to the luggage attendants and to restaurant staff. We never had any issues all week and the food, service, and entertainment were all great. The location on the beach was probably the best part with great views and close proximity to the marina.

Room was good, but all-inclusive was one of the worst i have ever been to ( i haveen to over 10 all inclusive resorts). Their restaurants were few and wait times were horrible at best. Not able to find even a morning coffee at ease. On top, i cannot order food for my entire family at once, they ration be it in drinks or food, making almost half the party to individually place orders. I have never seen this before. Lastly, when we requested whilte rice, the very basic food, they could not give us much, making us order out despite paying for all inclusive. In other restaurants, i have seen chef’s create special menus and customized options to help address my vegetarian needs. Apart from Cafe Bella’s food quality, that is very good, overall experience is suboptimal at best.

Did the all inclusive with my husband and adults kids. I’m a pretty picky eater and found the food to be especially good. Tomatillos and the sports bar had great food. The pool food and bar service was also excellent. The pizza at the pool was great. There was still some construction noise from the Bella California renovations but I was not bothered by it. Housekeeping was excellent. I wish there was another option for breakfast than the buffet. It would have been nice to have a grab and go for breakfast.

They never disclosed that the entire place was closed off with jack hammering all day. The restaurant by the ocean was closed off and the elevators were not working. They didn’t do a thing when I said it was unacceptable to sit and listen to saws and jack hammers all day.

The staff, at every level is always outstanding. Looking forward to coming back when the construction is over. Celso at the breakfast buffet was so sweet, attentive, and always had a smile on his face. Exceptional service, Celso! Oscar was the best poolside ever! Coral at the front desk was very helpful!
