A less sleezy motel 6. Faint smell of urine but otherwise clean. Bed felt hard and cheap. Breakfast was a tray of pastries. Stars are because those were deli's. Parking was easily accessible although we did have to park on the street one night. Staff was pleasant sans one very sassy man at reception. Wouldnt stay here again or recommend it but i didnt leave as soon as i entered and i think that should count for something!

The area was really safe and there was free parking located in the back of the hotel, it also made me feel safer that there was someone at the front desk 24/7, perfect for universal and halloween horror nights ! Also a lot of food options within walking distance

I have stayed at the Tangerine many times and it is my go-to for any concerts and events in the northern Los Angeles area. Plenty of parking, even when the hotel is full. Plenty of dining options in the vicinity and a great staff to help you enjoy your stay.

We had to wait 10 minutes to start check in because nobody was there. Then the lady had trouble opening the door to get to her computer because they had some construction done. The lady was extremely nice but the process was slow

Pricey for what you get

Room was clean but outdated and small. Wallpaper was peeling off the walls. Parking is first come first serve or you're on the street. Breakfast was pastries, coffee and tea.

Location for getting to and from Universal studios was great short uber ride. Room was ok at best. The vinyl flooring they used had gaps in between the planks and were not properly afixed to the floor. The night stand was not properly attached to the wall and was ready to fall off. Bed was VERY firm for my taste.

Check -in was pleasant and the room was pretty good. I did have an issue with being able to close the curtains, so it let a stream of light through the gap that paired with an overhead light to be quite bright. Minor inconvenience with a nice stay overall.

The local bakery items were a nice, sweet carb to munch on alongside quad shots of Espresso to drink. The staff were lovely with check in, and out~ It was also lovely to be in close proximity to many restaurant options for many types of cravings. This was also our recovery zone from Halloween Horror Nights on Sunday evening as we closed out the park that night and needed rest after coming back by 3AM! This area is one of my favorites to visit whenever the finances and time off align~
