We have stayed at this time, each time for a week. We like the area and will stay here during our next visit. On this visit, we initially were in the part of the hotel that has not yet been renovated. The air handling system was balking. The hotel immediately moved us to a renovated room. That is how the place is run. We feel welcomed and well taken care of.

It was a decent hotel. Clean and staff were friendly. It was on the expensive side. I thought it was because of the location and because it was 4 star. There was nothing special about it to make it 4 star. And the location wasn't really that great (still had to travel an hour by train to do most attractions). The nearby area with restaurants is convenient but can get a little sketchy late at night. A cheaper hotel near Heathrow with breakfast included would've been better value in my opinion.

Nice size of the room, comfortable beds and silent location. Extra plus for the coffe, tea and fridge. The breakkfast was unfortunately overprized and sad. The hot meals were cold and the selection of food did not meat up with the price.

The room was very warm at night, so we turned the cooling on and left for the day, hoping it would be cool when we returned for the evening. We returned to an oven! We were told at the front desk that the cooling was seasonal and we only had heating available in the room, so the best we could do was open the window, which only opened about 4 inches.....not enough to cool the room over night but enough to let the noise in and keep us awake all night!
