The hotel could really use a proper renovation. It looks and feels worn and dated, including the fixtures and fittings in the room. Not worth the £200 I paid for a night. There was no bathrobe, no face cloth. The shower was no doubt from the 90s or early 00s.

We were 3 ladies staying to go to the theatre. Great location for the Barbican (1 min walk). Most eateries shut because it’s the city and they don’t open at weekends. Room was good. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable and there was only 2 of everything in the room. Two cups, two glasses, two waters etc. but overall a pleasant stay.

Lovely hotel in convenient location. Room was clean and tidy with loads of little extras like biscuits (a rarity these days) full compliment of toiletries in the bathroom, and bathroom scales!!!!!. We had a small problem with air con but as we were only staying one night, just let reception know on departure. All staff were friendly and want to ensure you have a comfortable stay

Nice and helpful staff. Room is very dated and can use an upgrade. There were cracks and dents in the bathtub; some outlets don’t work; wear and tear shows across the room. Towel warmer and rain shower is nice. Umbrella in room is nice. Easy check in and check out. Bed is average.

Lovely welcome and able to leave luggage as arrived early. Really convenient location only 6 min walk from Moorgate tube station. Nice modern room, comfy bed and quite during our stay. Issue with getting aircon to work but luckily wasn’t unbearably hot.

Lovely staff

The staff are efficient, hardworking and friendly. The room we were in was a little “tired” - the hard furnishings were looking a bit chipped and battered. Aircon wasn’t very efficient and my room was gloomy. Having said this, the location was spot on for our needs.

Great location super comfy

I travel for business too frequently and stayed in more hotels than on hotels.com but this hotel had one of the comfyiest beds , great room temperature and everything I want and need in a hotel when travelling for business. Slighly requires some attention is I was being picky with small repairs needed but overall excellent
