The positives. It was close to the tube and walking distance to shopping like Harrods. The South Kensington neighborhood was very vibrant and close to Hyde Park, Notting Hill and Portobello Market if you prefer a different beat. The not so positive. The room was smaller than I expected but that was fine. However the bed was very squeaky, the room had an unwelcoming smell and the room could use some touch ups. Paint was coming off night stand table and the window cover was inoperable. I was offered a different but due to timing unable to relocate. Just overall inconvenience.

King bed would have been better for size of room. Super king unnecessary. At breakfast unsweetened bread and normal yogurt would have been good.

Had an excellent first stay at this great hotel! It’s conveniently located, making it easy to get around London—just a few minutes from the tube. The staff were outstanding—so friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. I loved the boutique hotel experience—it felt so much more personal and charming compared to a large corporate chain. It truly added to the overall enjoyment of our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London, and we will absolutely be back!

The staff were great and always very friendly! The room was a good size and great location for everything in South Kensington. However, the room did not retain warmth very well, the provided electric heater was not powerful enough to warm the room, nor was the central heating system which we had to set to 30 degrees c for it to pump out air that had a hint of warmth. The room also lacked bedside lights, which would have been nice so that we could read without the use of the bright main light.

The staff during check in were great to meet and greet the guest. I had a lovely and nice decoration for our anniversary. But the downside it was a poor breakfast. Fair enough the breakfast start at 7am. Went down for breakfast after 30 mins and the boiled eggs were cold. I wanted fried eggs but nothing there apart from scrambled and boiled eggs. If you are the kind of person that like to book hotel with breakfast and this would be the wrong hotel. Without breakfast this hotel is worth to book. Furthermore my room didn’t have minibar. I would expect to be empty but no minibar. Even for longer stay guest especially for summer if you want to keep the drinks cooler. I would not visit this hotel again in near future.

Such a fun place to stay. And very comfortable. Bedroom was very clean and bathroom had an awesome heated floor. If I were to make any suggestions it would be to provide more than 2 tiny sachets of milk for the coffee machine and for shower caps to be available. But really, if that’s it? Wow!

Overall ok

Experience was ok. I was a bit let down that there was no instructions for the hot tub, nor was it explained at check in. In the end my partner had to find a member of bar staff who was helpful in turning on the power from the mains. The challenge is, the tub then took almost 8 hours to heat up. Bit of a let down when you pay extra for it. In future might be best to have it turned on prior to check in. Otherwise than that it was a good stay.

Overall, the hotel is clean and well-maintained, with friendly staff and a convenient location that offers easy access. However, I did experience an issue with the noise from the ventilation system (not the A/C) in my room, which was quite loud and made it challenging to sleep at night.
