Cheap Thrills - Convenient Location

Cheap thrills! We were on a budget so I can’t complain too much. It gets the job done. Very close to subway station which made it easy to navigate to and from the downtown. Awesome little cafes and restaurants nearby. Gotta shoutout Fortitude Bakehouse - so great.

We loved our stay here! The room, washroom, and hallways were very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful! Area felt safe, lots of dining options around and if you like to walk, all the main attractions are as well! Also enjoyed the complimentary coffee and tea in the morning.

Affordable but badnight's sleep due to door noises

Comfy, clean room, nice staff, good luggage storage. However, a terrible night's sleep though due to very noisy doors and paper-thin / badly insulated walls and floors. Must have been woken close to 10 times between 3am-7am

Great place to stay in London on a budget. As other reviewers have mentioned, the street does get a little loud, so bring earplugs. I had a comfortable stay here and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good no-frills experience.

Old, good base, good location l, good value,

Friendly staff. Old hotel with small rooms, most do not have a bathroom/toilet so there are shared toilets & showers on the staircase between floors. Great location by Russell Square, 20 minutes walk to Center Point, Oxford Street, Dominion Theatre. British Museum is 5 minutes walk. Very quiet, only hear the birds in the morning. This inst glitz & glam, but good as a base for couples needing a night or two to stay. Nice old community lounge on ground floor to sit and read and has the tea & coffee facilities (non in tue room).
