Another excellent stay at the Cove in Canary Wharf - great base for a few weeks in London. However it is time they begin replacing their mattresses - ours was particularly uncomfortable. Folks considering this hotel should also be aware that the building (one of the highest in London) creaks considerably when it is windy which can make it hard to get a good night’s sleep - fortunately we only had a couple of windy nights.

Everything we needed and a bit more!

A worrying start as the wrong guest had been checked in and given my room, but this was quickly resolved. The room had everything we needed, and we were very comfortable. We did have trouble with the thermostat - it wouldn’t stay at the lower temperature we wanted, but this wasn’t a huge issue. If we could have changed one thing, it would have been the oven clock light. It was incredibly bright which did disturb our sleep a little. Otherwise, a great stay in a brilliant property in a great location.

Was a great experience especially having a kitchen in our room, theres a tesco next door as well. The only thing i would say that needs improvement it the noise, due to high winds theres so much noise you can hear inside the room, it can get really loud sometimes so keep the weatger conditions in mind when booking and it is a 10 minute walk to the underground.

Absolutely spotlessly clean everywhere. Always a massive plus when arriving at a place we’ve not stayed at previously. I’ve rated 5-stars across the board but if I’m being picky, there are a couple of things that could be improved in the bathroom. The shower temperature knob middle was detached (it had been previously stuck on with double sided tape). The toilet seat was quite loose. And the waterfall shower heads spouts could do with realignment as they were all over the place! But all in all, a very lovely stay and we loved the extras. The bed was also a little soft for us, so when we stay next, I will ask if they have apartments with firmer beds.

The room and location was excellent, and the staff was very friendly. The building is very noisy, due to the height I think it suffers from increased strong winds. There was nothing that the hotel could do and they did not do anything wrong, but it did impact our sleep.

Fantastic stay at the Cove

I would really recommend the Cove. We were welcomed by the friendly reception member, Christian, who resolved a slight issue we had. He was a great ambassador for the venue. The studio was well equipped, clean, in a great location near the CW pier and stations, plus all the shops and restaurant bars which CW offers. A great value stay.
