La Quinta Inn & Suites - accommodation in Lodi

Two to three times a year I stay at this property and from the second I check in with Rosa at the front desk to the second I check out the staff is absolutely wonderful. Manuel and Judika in the 16th floor cafeteria/lounge were so nice and helpful to us. The housekeeping department was always making sure we had clean and dry towels.

This hotel is right next to Lincoln Center and a block from Central Park. There is a Mexican restaurant in the hotel and a gelato shop as well as a Starbucks around the corner. It’s an easy walk to Times Square. The hotel room had a refrigerator but no coffee maker. The pool is on the roof and although small was a nice perk for the hot summer. The pool doesn’t open until 11 and would be much nicer if it opened in the morning so people with business could utilize it in the day. Overall it’s a great hotel and if they re able to keep the rates down it will be a go to. Staff was friendly and there is a bag check.

Air conditioner made loud noises and didn’t cool well. There is a timer and never got to the desired temperature. The Lobby is under construction so no place to sit. The elevators take 20 plus minutes to get on it and only if they are not full. The house keeping ladies are rude.
