Hidden gem just off of the hwy! Beautifully renovated inside! I loved the close proximity to Wenatchee Lake! Great spot to stay for a one nighter en route to Seattle from the Okanagan. We stayed on a Saturday and there was live music and great vibes! Recommend!

Coming back next year

We make a yearly trip to Leavenworth with our friends, and this stay was worth repeating. We love the keyless system, secure but no cards or keys to lose. The restaurant has great food and service, especially excellent milkshakes

We loved our stay at The Squirrel Tree! The room was very nice and clean. Loved that we could walk over in the morning for a delightful breakfast. We spent our days in Leavenworth. Then came back and enjoyed the bar. Great drinks and hours of playing pool. Upstairs. Can wait to come back again in the summer and enjoy some live music in the back area!

It’s a cute place and the restaurant next door was quite good. Due to an injury we asked to cancel part of our reservation. The owner said he would give us partial refund if he was able to rent it out - which he did - yet nothing. I get that it’s a small business and want to support that but this experience will give me pause on non-refundable reservation policies in the future.

Christmas in Leavenworth

The room could have had a small couch or easy chair to sit comfortably rather than a desk chair and backless stools. Bathroom could have had a heat fan rather than a light. I dont remember if there was a microwave to heat up a left over from the restaurant but I dont think so.

This place was very relaxing and secluded from all the Leavenworth chaos! The only thing I’d do differently next time is request a 2nd floor room. If you’re staying in the first level and you have a family with kids above you you’ll be able to hear all their noise and stomping. Other than that 10/10 would recommend!
