A great stay with both beauty & comfort

I really enjoyed staying at DoubleTree in Lancaster, PA. From the moment we arrived everyone was so welcoming & friendly. The hotel was very clean, almost fancy for me, and beautiful. I love that there's an accessible "Sweet Shop" where snacks can be purchased. The pool is lovely. Very clean & pretty. Towels are provided. Its open until 10pm & thete's an adjacent kiddie section for the little ones. The rooms come stocjed with plenty of towels & pillows (important to me-4 to a bed) & they have comforters not just a thin blanket. It was well worth it for me. There's a restaurant/bar inside and its family friendly. I would definietly return!

We had a great Easter weekend staying at Doubletree. My 3 granddaughters 7,6 and 1 year loved both pools. Breakfast buffet was excellent and reasonably priced. The suite worked out well for my daughters family.

Beware of this hotel. Our sink and shower stopped draining on Monday night. Through the night they slowly drained. We flushed the toilet the next morning to have sewage flow into the shower through the drain. The odor of raw sewage in the room was terrible and disgusting, to a point of causing nasuea. We quickly gathered our items to check out. Arriving at the front desk, I told the hostess of our problem. She offered the standard issue apology, but said they could do nothing to compensate because I used Expedia to book the hotel. She gave me a business card for the supervisor. I called and left a voicemail and as of 04/11/25, no one has called back. It seems they were happy to take our money, but when the room did not meet our expectations they stopped caring. If this was a low end, economy type hotel I'd expect this treatment as standard, but not from a Hilton hotel...
