We absolutely loved our stay. Not only were the rooms clean and beautiful, the staff was so friendly and amazing. The restaurant was delicious. We had the autumn risotto, lamb, swordfish, lobster, and pasta and a wonderful Nebbiolo wine. We would highly recommend staying here.

The room was excellent, and mostly, we had a very good stay, but be aware - they prioritize their weddings. So when, at 9:15 on Sunday morning, we were woken up by bagpipes and drums and we called the front desk, we were told there was a wedding going on and there was nothing to be done. Not the relaxing end to our weekend that we wanted.

Very disappointing. Reserved 3 rooms for 6 people. Problems were consistent across all rooms. Overwhelming fragrance throughout lobby and througout hotel; many electrical outlets not working in each room. Grab bar missing in 2 of the tub/shower combinations. No shower/tub mats provided for antislip. Decorative towel "rack" was placed so high on wall, shorter people couldnt reach. No elevator on premises so it was difficult for some to negotiate luggage and stairs. Finally, dinner at restaurant on premises was good but soup which was ordered was never brought to us and 2 people were overcharged for their dinners. When brought to waitstaff's attention, an adjustment was made to bill but the amount charged was still higher than what was stated on the menu. No other compensation was offered and waitstaff did not seem to want to correct the problem.
