An amazing blend of modern with Japanese decor. Well appointed rooms with comfortable bed, amazing overhead rain shower, and decent square footage for luggage. There are a lot of shops nearby, all within walking distance. Nishiki market is about 5 minute walk from hotel. Several train stations near hotel. The onsen was fabulous, especially after hours of walking, taking in sights. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Kyoto. It will definitely be where I stay when I return.

Beautiful hotel and very friendly and attentive staff. The room was spacious and the baths were very relaxing and well maintained. The highlight for us was getting to go up on the terrace and getting to use the foot baths while enjoying the city view.
