This hotel was the nicest hotel I stayed in during my trip in Japan. The location was great as it was a very short walk to the park, Kyoto aquarium and train museum. It was also right beside the station which is just one stop away from Kyoto station. There is also a combini within the hotel so I never needed to leave the hotel to get something from a combini. The rooms were great as the room and bathroom were more spacious and very clean. The public bath was also very nice and not very crowded during my stay. The staff were very helpful and welcoming which was nice. I ordered a luggage transfer from this hotel and the staff handled my luggage and paperwork for me which was great. I did not try any dining options so I have no comments on that. The hotel provided everything I would want and need in a hotel. Great rooms, price, amenities, location and service. I have no complaints with my stay here and would recommend this hotel for anyone visiting the area.

This property exceeded my expectation. It is a quick 1-stop train ride from Kyoto station. The property is right across the station with a Starbucks and Family Mart right next to it. There are also good restaurants and the Kyoto aquarium within walking distance to the property. The room is spacious than the usual in Japan and bathroom is very modern. Cleanliness in the entire hotel is very visible. There is a public bath offered for free, a traditional bath in Japan. The room is furnished with a safe, mini fridge and complete toiletries with a set of pj for the public bath which you can also wear in the room. There's a room for ice and a microwave along the hallway and a vending machine by the public bath. I need to mention how impressed we were with breakfast. It was a buffet with a lot of hot dishes, mixed of Japanese and American, desserts and drinks. Better to include the breakfast to your reservation.

Liked the hot bath available at the hotel - great after a day of sightseeing. Family Mart very useful. Downside - quite a distance away from centre of city - have to take the train or bus or a 20 mins walk.

The hotel room was well equipped and decorated. The amemties such as pyjamas, Japanese baths, microwave and ice machine in utility areas, attached supermarket were excellent additions. The breakfast was also excellent. The location is very good, just outside Kyoto centre. There is a train station within a 1 minute walk from hotel and it is a 5minute train journey to main Kyoto train station right in the centre of Kyoto. The bus station is also attached to the train station, which means you can get to all area easily. Our family will be returning to Japan and will definitely return to this hotel.

Good location for Kyoto station and for other buses and trains that go to certain tourist sites. Room was a good size, breakfast was high quality although the restaurant was not available without a 'group booking'. Self service laundry was very useful also.

Our stay here was amazing. I can highly recommend this place. It was clean, upmarket, very nice and so close to the train. The room was spacious, the bathroom stunning. The Onsen was beautiful and catered for everything and worth a visit. The staff were helpful and very welcoming every time we came in. Breakfast was delicious and very well catered. We visited the Family Mart next door every night and went for Starbucks coffee every morning which is next door. Location was perfect. Train was directly opposite and very convenient, one stop to Kyoto Central train station. The location is safe and very quiet. You will not regret staying here.
