The staff are so friendly and helpful and always tried to do their best for everyone most times they went beyond what aust hotels do even the general manager and the owners couldnt be me helpful

Great value

Pros: Locatio quiet BED GREAT AND COMFY
Cons: No safe in room No mini bar but that is ok for mec
Location: Close to beach and seminyak and kutaa
Arrived late room ready waS dubious about the quality for the price but surprised pleasantly I was on first floor so if you dont like stairs ask for Room good size and large bathroom walk straight in

Nice swimming pool, hotel rooms very old.

Location: Location good.
Did not have double bed available even though booked 9 months ago. First time I had to sleep separate from my wife in 11 years of marriage.

Traditional budget to modern comfortable rooms.

Pros: Good location on Jalan Legian. Adequate to nice facilities.
Cons: My budget room had a hole in the bathtub. This will cause more building maintenance issues than guest dissatisfaction and could be easily repaired.
Location: Close to Kuta and Legian attractions. That means constant traffic in the street, but don't worry none of the rooms front the street.
If you have any problem. Communicate with staff. They will fix. Don't complain here about something not working if you have not attempted to advise management or staff of any issue, especially in the older budget rooms. No hot water? Gas bottle ran out. A/C fan not working. Staff gets twig to poke blades. OK afterwards. I am not too concerned for the good rate I pay. Website says includes breakfast, but Wotif booking does not for the low tarrif. No problem. Plenty of decent warungs around to get you on your way each morning. Nice small gardens around pool area. I didn't use pool, but it looked very nice. I would happily use this hotel again again.

14 Roses Hotel

Excellent hotel in a good location with entrances at legian rd and benisari lane, which is a prime place if you don't want the hassle and prices on legian rd. Accommodating and courteous staff and management. Good value for the money.

Busy area, not recommended for relaxation/families

General area is very busy & noisy esp late at night not suited for elderly or families, 15 min walk to beach if you dont get hussled markets very pushy & over priced, older syle hotel basic rooms, a/c work but smell like poo, bed sheets & towels stained & STINK, toilets block easy, brekky dismal, poolbar has no drinks but can be ordered but only basics, extra beds laundry & spa are pricey. Staff are friendly & honest but poor English.

Great location, room needs some maintinence

Pros: A/c was super good! great pool. cleaned daily. bottled water
Cons: No fridge. asked for double bed-got 2 singles. No hot water (but at that time of year didn't actually need it. no shower in room only bath with a hose
Location: great location, central to the shops. booking agent out the front was really helpful. and the Jokers bar next door/out the front was the best
I always felt safe in my room and was a great place to base my trip, however, I had the unique experience of having to sit down in the bath to try and wash myself with a portable shower head as it wasn't long enough to standup to shower, and there were no shower curtains or holder to mount this "shower head" or "hose" as I called it. Hot water would have been nice, but at this time of year it was do-able. No fridge, but i didn't really need one. Internet was way to slow for me to do anything, so I bought a sim card (much quicker-cost $10 AUD). I booked through expedia and was looking forward to daily breakfasts becuase I put it in my filter, but when I checked in and looked at the paperwork- turns out no breakfast included which was a bit of a let down. Hotel staff were super friendly and It was prob cause i got the cheapest room In the hotel. I still enjoyed my trip. GO BALI!
