The room was very outdated. The bathroom vanity was in poor condition, chips off the wood, and it looked like it was 100 years old. I noticed almost all of the doors on the 3rd floor (floor we stayed on) had paint off, scuff marks, and just generally looked very run down. The bathroom toilet seat had all kinds of damage and looked like it was 20 years past time to replace. The only art work on the wall where the TV and desk were located, was off center and hung in a strange location. Instead of being centered over something, it was snug against the drapes ….. very, very odd! This hotel is incredibly run down! Very disappointed!!!!!

Not a good value

We stayed 2 nights and chose this hotel for its central location. The lobby looks fine but when we got off the elevator it was a very different condition. Room doors of varying colors, some with peeling paint and dents. Carpet looked to have been laid over another layer of carpet and was literally held in place with thumbtacks! Had to watch our step to keep from tripping over bunched up areas. One of the blackout shades in our room was torn and dangling minus its opening/closing rod, so I had to carefully arrange the two sides to block out the morning sun. Furniture scuffed/peeling veneers/badly worn in places. Despite the very shabby condition, the room and bath were both quite clean with no odors or air fresheners, so kudos to the housekeeping staff. My biggest complaint is that we paid $523 for 2 nights, presumably because there was a UT home game that weekend. This was the best price I could find at what we consider a decent hotel with okay ratings.

Do Not Stay Here! Absolutely horrid! We booked this room for Parents Weekend at UT. The reviews were mostly 9/10 and 10/10 so we booked based on that. The room was absolutely disgusting! The carpet is probably 30 years old, covered in stains and what looked like black mold. The walls are water stained. The toilet seat was disgusting. The chair in the room was old and stained. The room was so dirty I couldn’t even sit on anything. We asked for another room and the that room was just as gross. We were give a refund from Hotels.com thankfully and after arriving from the airport at midnight, we left and went and stayed at Hilton!
