Fooled me once, not again.

Check in was easy. Room was very small. Stains on the comforter. Shower had hairs in it. Exactly once every hour the electrical room next door would make a loud noise and vibrate the walls and beds. This lasted about a minute each time. Happened all night and woke me up every hour. Continental breakfast had limited options. Guests were not allowed to serve the hot food themselves. Ended up leaving to get breakfast elsewhere. My son said “I had a good trip except the hotel.” Next time I’ll be spending a few more dollars to stay elsewhere. Sign outside reads “Award winning hotel”. Don’t be fooled

1 star for hotel and that’s it …., for front desk gals 4 stars. First trip to Knox, Let’s share why. Air conditioning, horrible. Moved rooms because it doesn’t get cold, just barely cool…a warm cool. The peephole has some kind of ewww in it…disgusting. The lamp plugs next to bed closest to bathroom, DONT work! The shower, layer down a towel to not step on dirty shower floor (heard of comet? Magic erasers ? Elbow grease??) wore socks walking around in the muggy room because the carpets are horrifyingly dirty. The blackout curtains, great, however, the large gap around the whole door beams in the brightest lights. AND no fruit for breakfast, really?! WHY would you allow busses and big rigs to block a whole row parking spots forcing cars to park in other parking lots farther away?! This was our first trip, we absolutely would NOT come back to this hotel or chain of hotels when we do (and we will once a month for business and housing)
