We arrived on Good Friday. It took 2 hours from exit ramp to get to hotel. No parking available near hotel. Not good direction about where to find parking. Room was Ok. Price very steep for services offered

The place is amazing and they have people standing around to help you if you need it which we did which was super helpful. Mexican restaurant food was not good. Room was great but the pillows gave me neck pain. The shower is awesome, the water pressure being great. The bath products smelled so good too. It was a pricey stay but it was my birthday and a special occasion. Wish we could have stayed longer to experience everything. We were there for a Grand Ole Opry concert and shuttle service was available which was great because it was so cold out.

This is one of my favorite hotels. It is always beautiful, clean, and promises elegant beauty at every turn. The staff was very helpful, however, there was a Turkey convention at the hotel so it was overcrowded. We had to wait an hour and a half to get our room, I happen to notice that when I book the Gaylord Opryland Resort through Expedia, they place us in the outdated and most unattractive rooms in the hotel. This was my 9th stay at Opryland Resorts. When I booked them directly, I was placed in the Magnolia area where the rooms seem to be more spacious, newer, and nicer. The last time I stayed at Opryland through Expedia, they placed us in an outdated room that had a view of the kitchen of one of the restaurants. The room was small and outdatedFor this last stay, I asked them to place me in a room that did not have a view of the kitchen restaurant, and instead they placed us in a small room that had a view of the sidewalk and the mechanics of the water park. We spent a lot of money per night for this hotel with added resort and parking fees. In addition to that my sister had a rehearsal dinner at the Gazebo in the Magnolia Gardens that weekend. The family spent a lot of money to hold this event. One would think that we would get a decent room for all of the money we spent, between the nightly hotel rate, and the event we held there, but instead, they placed us in an outdated, smaller room. That was disappointing considering I have stayed in much nicer rooms here.

Obviously the property itself is lovely. The pillows in our room kept me up all night and my husband struggled with them as well. At check in my card was run. The desk clerk said it wasn't, though I knew it had been and told her so. Even so, she ran it again. Meaning for a one night stay I somehow ended up with over $1,200 in pending charges for the room.
