I am a woman travelling alone, and I did not like coming at night to a hotel where there are no staff. I didn't realize the setup until after I made the reservation. The street is pretty dark. The room is fine, although there is no place to sit and work.

The room was very clean, it is a very cool property. The parking(as clearly stated in the description) was a bit challenging, but we were able to park our SUV with a little bit of effort. If everyone would pay close attention, they could fit a couple more vehicles in their lot. Great spot, quick walk to and from The Plaza. We would definitely stay here again!

No staff were present the entire time I was there. I was told that the "hotel" was "more like an Airbnb." So no one there during business hours. No food out on one morning for breakfast - emailed and was told this was a staffing "hiccup." People on both sides of my room were smoking - emailed the staff to mention this, only responded to the part of my message thanking them for breakfast that morning, no response to the smoking complaint. Building itself was nice.

Poor communication for check in, all courtesy prior had been from Expedia but then the day of check in the instructions for check in came from a source I had never heard of before so I had to try and figure out how to get ahold of someone to find out how to check in. We were expecting to have a continental breakfast but there was no food anywhere in the house. All the other people staying were all questioning where the food was.

Such a cute place! Check in was not a breeze but that’s mostly because I wasn’t paying attention to my emails. When I called for help, I was helped quickly and the person was friendly. Bed was super comfy.

Bathroom did not appear to be cleaned before we checked in...sink mainly, lots of dust on light fixture. Ceiling fan in room was a plus! Need a larger garbage-recyling bin. They could also put up a mirror behind the hotel room door. This would provide an extra space for people to get ready as the bathroom in our room was small. Verandah was gorgeous, had a porch swing. The back area of the Inn was magical.

I booked for my son and bride for their honeymoon night. Notifed the hotel. I requested an hour early checkin. They would not allow despite no one staying at the hotel. According to my booking thru Expedia, I was allowed early checkin. They also did not receive breakfast. Per the hotel, the had an event the precluded them from serving breakfast to their only guests. The email they sent day of checkin didn't indicate no breakfast. They said we got a special rate. This is not true. Same rate on other dates. If you are wanting to go somewhere for a special event, this is not your place. They could care less.
