We are reward members and have stayed at this location but very dissatisfied. For one the exhaust fan in bathroom runs non stop. Asked Amber at front desk yesterday morning around 9am if house keeping can just make our bed and change 2 hand towels. First Amber said since you're staying only 2 nights we cant do that. I already ask housekeeper and she said front desk will have to list our room for partial clean. She wanted to know housekeeper nane. I said we only have 1 request. She finally after basically arguing that she would ask housekeeper. When we returned from out event the bed was not made and so i called and spoke with new person on shift who said no request was notated from us. Room 504. Amber did not do her job and made us feel devalued!

We stay at the Springhill Suites in Ames, Iowa often, which is why we chose it here. This one definitely isn't up to the quality of that one. It was very clean but not spotless like that one. The bathroom had several things that needed to be fixed - a couple broken tiles on the wall along the floor, water leaking out of the shower along the side (I thought it was just a door problem but it was beyond that). The shower controls and door hinge were also set up backwards so you couldn't get to the controls without going into the shower and closing the door. However, Springhill Suites has the BEST beds. They are so comfortable, making up for everything else. Their pullout was also a daybed with an actual mattress. SO much better than a pullout. It was a very comfortable night's sleep.

Was very disappointed with the pool….it was green! The size also disappointing….we mostly stay at the spring hill near Zona Rosa and love their pool. North location seemed dated.
