Worst customer service and too many lies
When we arrived we were told we didnt have a room. The front desk guy had an attitude from the moment i walked up. I eventually got a key to a room but when we opened the door it was tiny! The guy had downgraded the room from what we paid for. I called downstsirs and the guy said "you got a room didnt you?" The room was awful. I tried to explain we paid for an upgraded room but the guy got really nasty. I had hom on speakerphone and my husband was atunned at how he was speaking to me. My husband took the telephone and tried to resson with him but the guy said "youre acting like children!" And hung up. The rom was so hot we slept with the balcony door open in 30⁰⁰ temp. I spoke with manager who said wed be moved but nothing! Manager also offered a refund but when Hotels.com reached out he denied it! The room was so bad and i didnt want to run into front desk guy so i left a day early. Was the worst hotel stay weve ever had and absolut worst customer service we've ever experienced. I enjoy staying here when I come to Kansas City for a visit. The location on the Plaza is perfect and walkable. A beautiful and welcoming situation. I recommend it.
