Hear the stadium sounds

Highly recommend if you’re in town for a short stay and especially if taking in a Chiefs and/or Royals fame. Very cool to stand outside and look right into the baseball stadium at the fans. Not much around the area otherwise, but lots to do within 15-20min drive.

Our room was clean and appropriate although there was a rip in the carpet in the middle of the room. The reasoning of giving just a good rating is we had a room on the basement level. The carpets in the hallway were dirty and not vacuumed. Rated Inconvenient as we arrived a little early hoping to get into our room. We were put on a waiting list. It was so crowded in the lobby at least 40 or more people waiting to check in. Many people did not go to the front desk to be put on the wait list and seemed upset. Seems there might be a better process as this is the first time we have experienced such chaos in checking in.

Too many issues make this a “no”

We are traveling with a group of three families. Two of the three the rooms weren’t ready at check-in. They were ready about 40 minutes after check-in time. In our room, there was an enormous wet spot on the floor. I’m hoping it was a spill, but it never dried up. There were hairs on the shower wall that didn’t come from us, and the chair in the room had no bottom so I ended up on the floor. Breakfast started at 6 am, but the hot food didn’t arrive until 6:40. My son said, “the only good thing about this hotel is the comfortable bed.” He’s right. The beds were great. There are other hotels within a stone’s throw of this one. They are all similarly priced. Do yourself a favor, and choose something different.

This property was nasty. The pool was yellow and green and had active mold on the floor. Rooms were not ready so there was a line going out the door and they were taking numbers for who got to check in first. Rooms were dirty and had stains on curtains and other areas of room.
