We go once a year as a treat to our kids, even though the price gets more expensive. However, this year we decided to go for our daughter's 8yr old bday. So I wanted it to be extra special, at check-in I asked for them to have the door decorated as previous years we've seen the full door decorated for birthdays. I was told that they no longer do that and they now have posters on the door and it costs $11.99. With no hesitation, I paid it. The lady that checked me in also didnt seem excited to work there and didnt really tell me the details about the poster. We waited for about 2hrs until our room was ready. We were expecting the bday poster to be at the door ready to great my daughter but there were none. So I called guest services and was told that they put it up at 5pm. When we got it the room it was 4pm. Ok fine, we leave for the waterpark and come back at 7:30pm and still NO bday poster.
So I call a second time, annoyed now that I paid for something that didnt come and totally killed the anticipation. I tell them, to just refund it as we no longer want it, my daughter was disappointed twice. And they apologize and tell us we would get refund and they will still put up the poster eventually. But then 5 minutes after they call to let me knw that I never paid for it and thats why I didnt get it. I argue as I see the charge on my credit card and now I'm even more upset as they tell me that is not what is showing in the system. In the end, they saw their mistake and apologize
