People need to remember that jabiru is a remote part of Australia, you don’t come here for a fantastic hotel experience, you come here to support regional Australian locals and see Kakadu. Please support the NT and jabiru locals.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The room is basic and time warped to the seventies!!. Fittings very shabby like curtains broken and hanging off tracks. Table damaged. Bath stained and air conditioner filthy dirty.

Jad our swimwear stolen by indigenous guests staying in next 2 rooms. Staff excellent, they moved us and offered complimentary items as an apology. Restaurant had great food, but pricey. The hotel needs a big renovation, not uoto Mecure standards to be honest. Shame really, we were looking forward to staying there.

The unique design of this NT highlight still works well -- great pool and surrounds at the centre and well appointed rooms even at the 'Standard' level. Some wear and tear is beginning to show, especially in the bathroom, but all was clean and the shower was excellent! Staff are friendly and helpful, and a big bonus is the great local Indigenous art in the bedrooms, and the opportunity to buy for yourself in their display area. The restaurant is good (even for vegetarians), thankfully, because there are not many other places to eat in the town. This is a great base to explore one of the greatest natural and cultural sites on earth -- have a good bushwalk then cool off back in the pool before sunset atop Ubirr. Everyone should experience Kakadu, and the Crocodile Hotel makes a great place to stay for honeymooners, pensioners, families, and all in between. And we love the Territorian rates, too.

Excellent location for sightseeing. Artworks for sale were lovely. Room could have been cleaner. Queen size beds rather than doubles would be better.

We liked the look of the property but there were so many mosquitoes around that you couldn’t sit outside and aircon went off in the middle of the night so it was warm and hard to sleep. Buffet dinner was expensive.

Dear Guest, I am sorry you did not enjoy all aspects of your stay, the mosquitos are at their worst on dusk and dawn and it is advisable to stay inside during those times. Kind Regards Chris Chaffe General Manager

We arrived in the early evening, and the crocodile eyes glowing red was a nice touch. Food was good and staff prompt. There's not a lot of paring at reception, so you may have to continue down (we had to go to the second big circle car-park) and then walk back to check-in. Worst thing I can say was that the fan was controlled by a remote hidden under a cushion, and with the combination of being unable to find the controls and the room instructions mentioning the air-conditioning and not the fan we, thought the fan was no longer in service until just before check-out.
