Hi, thanks for leaving a review, we really appreciate the feedback on our establishment. We are glad that you liked our rooms, we are in the process of upgrading all of the bathrooms in the entire hotel (which does take a bit of time to do), hopefully next time you stay we will have a few more done. The peacocks are beautiful and they are also wild peacocks.

Hi, have just seen your review. The reception staff was unaware that you had an issue with your room. Had the room not been cleaned to your satisfaction our team would have most certainly cleaned your room all over again that night. Again had their been an issue with your Barramundi, it would have been taken straight back to our kitchen and a new meal prepared for you. That is our policy at the establishment, and we pride our selves on that in the whole 1 year and 4 months that we have owned the establishment we have very few meals that are redone. The place has just had 6 rooms completely refurbished and the rest of the motel is undergoing remodeling as well. I am happy to chat to you about your stay if you wish to call me, as non of the issues you are writing about had been raised with any of the staff that were on during your stay. If it had been it would have been fixed straight away. I am not sure what else can be said to a post like this, but to say please call me so we can discuss your stay.

Hi, just saw your review of our property. I am so sorry that you did not enjoy your stay at our property, as most people seem to do so. If the room was not cleaned to your satisfaction, we were not notified and so had we known of your dissatisfaction we most certainly would have called our housekeeping staff back into work to fix the situation. In regards to no shower doors, we have only recently purchased the property (DEC 2019) just before COVID hit and we intend on upgrading the bathroom facilities to modern showers (with doors) but this does take time, and we do have high calcium water in Mataranka. Again had you come to us about the TV we would have done our best to fix the situation as our two remote system can be a little tricky to navigate, or had there been a problem we would have happily swapped you to a more suitable room. I do sincerely hope that you enjoyed the thermal pools at Mataranka, and do come and see us again, as I am sure we will be able to make your stay enjoyable next time.
