Very welcoming and made you feel at home. Loved all the animals and they were more than happy for you to interact with them. Could not use the kettle as it was filthy and had to go to the tavern for dinner (which was excellent) as nothing on their menu seemed to be available. We still had a great stay and would definitely recommend staying here

Quirky and dated. Could do with a neaten up. Cobwebs and spiders in bedrooms and bathrooms. Cleanliness not great.

Great food, comfy accommodation, animals to play with, perfect location to explore Litchfield from. Actually best homemade chips I’ve ever had! Kids loved it and we all slept amazing!

I didn't stay there! Upon my arrival ~5pm the place was closed with a note on the gate that it will re-open the next day. Obviously I couldn't seat there overnight so I found alternative accommodation. I complained about that with request of the refund to your contact email - it was ignored so far... Very bad service!!!

O.K. If you have kids who love animals

Pros: Nothing much
Cons: Level of facilities and overall maintenance of rooms and surrounds
Location: Batchelor is an excellent base for exploring Litchfield National Park
Facilities very basic with a small noisy refrigerator in the room that kept us awake at night. The butterflies, fish and rabbits provide a diversion if you have kids, but did not justify paying a premium relative to other accommodation we have experienced in the Northern Territory.

Unique Experience

Pros: The unique character
Cons: The food was average
Location: Good location to explore Litchfield National Park
A truly unique place to stay. Great atmosphere, comfortable rooms and a bonus farm to explore.

Family friendly getaway

We stayed overnight so we could have two full days in Litchfield Park and we were not disappointed. Chris and Angel made us feel like part of the family and went out of their way to make sure that my kids had a great time; helping to feed the animals etc.

Out of the Box

Pros: Friendly, child focused, easy quite.
Cons: Not a fan of the tiger bedspread but honestly, if that is my gripe have I forgotten how much fun the kids had and as a result how relaxing it was?
Location: Great location to get to Litchflied.
Forget all your past experiences, this one is new and unique. Embrace the fantasy of a lush oasis in the middle of a very dry and baron outback Australian village. Chris the owner is a character. Although my daughter did not quite know where to place him she loved it: bunnies to cuddle, butterflies to land on your nose, goats to feed and turkey and piglets - a childs dream. The relaxed and friendly nature of the staff leaves everyone feeling quite relaxed and happy to take a moment into a world that is .... as I said, unique. My kids are 11, 8, 6: and all three loved it.
