Property was centrally located to all kinds of shopping, restaurants and beaches. Main lobby very pretty. Nice roof top pool and other amenities. Room itself was small. The 1 bedroom would have been very tight with the 4 people we planned on being there with. Was ok for 2. AC controller was very old and hard to regulate. Overall, a nice stay.

The hotel is in an excellent location. Not far from the beach, and a good shopping location. The rooms are well organized and they have most of the amenities needed for your stay. My only negative is that the beds are not the most comfortable in the rooms. The murphy beds are far more comfortable as well as the couch.

Loved our stay at The Imperial. Our room didn’t have a view but it was perfect for our family. Our two kids each had a queen bed and two bathrooms made getting ready a lot smoother. The kitchen is ideal for this trying to save some money, cause it adds up. Room was clean and staff was very friendly. Finally, there’s an ABC store eight downstairs which was very convenient and the walk to the beach was a quick 5 minutes. It really is the best bang for your buck. Laundry and gym available. We never made it to the pool, but don’t regret it, we were too busy enjoying Hawaii’s beaches.

Great for the price!

Hotel is located about 2 blocks from the beach and a block and a half for the Royal Hawaiian Center. It was an easy walk to everything! The Hotel was clean, the Staff friendly! A great find of you need something budget friendly. Rooms are a little small- and the bathrooms tiny. But we made it work! We did like that we had the Murphy and the sofa couch- each kid got their own spot which made them happy!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Imperial Hawaii Resort. We stayed in the Pam Suite and once we configured it for us, it worked perfectly. The staff (front desk, valet, housekeeping) was amazing and the rooms were clean. Enjoyed the amenities (ukulele lesson) and loved the proximity to the beach, shops, and heart of Waikiki.

The location of the property is excellent, it is in the heart of Waikiki. However, the hotel is old, in poor condition and is in need of renovation. The pool is not special and the hotel offers only basic amenities. The staff was not overly friendly. I called valet to summon my car and they said that I needed to call back when leaving the room. Which I thought was weird but reasonable. I called back the valet when we were leaving our room and the lady was rude and said that they do not allow call in requests for valet and that I needed to come down in person to order my car. Dont waste your time or money on this hotel, is is not great.

The staff were great, on check in had trouble with the card payment, the guy was amazing, so calm and helpful. The second bedroom was too small, would be alright for a family but not got two couples sharing, close to beach, buses and shopping, ABC shop next door

Room was nice and clean. We got the bayon room. It was comfortable for me and my husband it had like a kitchen area but no stove need to let staff know if you want a hot plate to cook. The hotel is 45 years old, so the style is a little bit outdated, but the staff was really attentive and nice. It is also five minute walk to Waikiki Beach and near Waikiki shopping.

Impressive Imperial stay

This is our second stay and we loved it. The staff are lovely and welcoming and our room was comfy. Location of the hotel is great, close to shops and restaurants and to trolley stops. There is a Denny’s and ABC shop directly underneath the hotel which is super handy, Denny gives a discount if you are staying at the hotel. The hotel is also close to a lovely beach bar and steak shack. We stayed in a Palm Room which had a separate bedroom and Murphy bed with 2 bathrooms and kitchenette. Our room was comfy and had a lanai (balcony). The pool was nice too. We also enjoyed the activities including lei making. The hotel is reasonably priced and we would definately stay here again.

The hallways in the hotel, smelled musty or old. Not very appealing. The room was nice. The amenities were just as lusted
