Spacious room but very basic and dated. Clean. Very nice staff. Parking. Restaraunt ok. It has an 1980’s feel about it. Bit expensive for what it is.

Waitress was anazing, helpful and informstive on Monday evening when we were the only people in the restaurant. The male manager was terrible, made it obvious he wanted to go home and it was very awkward for my friend who eats slowly and she finished her meal in our room and it was 9pm. For this reason we didn’t have another meal in the restaurant although we enjoyed the food. On another occasion the same manager didn’t even acknowledge a guest at reception although the younger staff member was friendly, helpful and efficient.

Great location close to sports complex but rooms are old. Room needs to be refurbished. Bedding smelt bad! Toilet wouldn't flush more than once in an hour, had to fill the cistern with water using the rubbish bin!

Hi Beck, Thank you very much for your feedback it is much appreciated.I have made a note of your comments about the bedding, it is all clean linen laundered at a local company so this will be passed along. The owner has mentioned there being a problem with the cistern after you brought it to his attention, we do not normally have any issues, and a plumber is fixing this so rest assured it has been noted. Thank you again for taking the time to comment, and I hope this this experience has not deterred you from visiting us again in the future.

Dated and over priced

$150 per night for a room which has not been updated since the 80's. Would normally expect to pay $90-$100 for similar.

Lovely hotel,

Pros: Just great overall, location & facilities.
Cons: Maybe some of the Villa's could have a make over.
Location: Plenty to do & see in the area.
Very good for single or family stays, rooms to suit, bars & restrauants are great as is the country atmosphere.

Deserted!

Pros: Easy access to major roads
Cons: Room excellent. Advertised free wifi was only available in the coffee shop. Advertising suggests in the room.
Location: Kinston Beach has good food and drink outlets. 3 min drive.
Wotif suggested three rooms left. In fact only 3 rooms only put up! Place was deserted. It was quiet with no noise from others. Suited us well.

Good location

Great location to explore the Huon Valley and Bruny Island or even a quick trip into the CBD. Great eateries nearby at Kingston Beach and Blackman Bay. The lack of a small cook top in the kitchenette was particularly disappointing. Some of the inclusions (TV, iron, microwave) were just a bit too budget quality.
