Our stay went really well. The property has an excellent location. The staff could not do enough for us. They were all really helpful and informative which was a great help to us. When we visit Glasgow in the future we will have no hesitation booking this property again. This hotel made our 2 night stay very nice . Breakfast was excellent too, with a wide range of options to choose from. A really good start to the day. The only thing that is not 5 star for me.The shower pressure is not strong enough for my liking.

Wonderful place to stay in Glasgow, close to downtown Glasgow in a very nice area of the city. Breakfast was extremely good, I enjoyed my stay at the Social Hub.

Overall pretty average, at best. Kinda disappointing. We started off by going to get our keys from the self-service desk. We’d checked in online, as per their email request. Midway through the check-in/key coding process, a staff member came over to stop what I was doing and basically redo it for me. To be clear, they literally redid everything we had done. It was really weird and almost like someone was trying to justify their job, or tick a box to say they’d “helped a guest”. Only after going back and doing everything I had done previously, where we allowed to be handed our keys. Confused, my wife and I headed upstairs to the room, where we were greeted by a door lock that looked like it had been previously forced. However, it was functional, so we continued into the room. Bed was ok. Mattress probably needs swapping out. One of the light fixtures was hanging from the ceiling, and inoperable. Not to worry, however, we could use the other lights in the room. We were on the sixth floor, so it was a little too warm. Upon inspection, none of the windows opened but there was an air-conditioning unit in the room. Unfortunately, however the controller didn’t move the temperature down to a level that we could deal with. This led to a restless night of overheating and broken sleep. Then, as we were checking out the next day, there was a fire alarm test which had not been mentioned at check-in. Not a massive deal but the jump scare was the cherry on top of a bland sundae.

This was a great hotel. Perfect location for visiting the town central. Clean rooms and excellent staff. Lots of shopping in the area and the restaurants were amazing. I always felt safe and would not hesitate to stay here again.
