Quiet and quaint

Pros: Friendly. Quiet.
Cons: Currently building on extensions.
Location: Out of the way and beautiful area.
Beautiful little boutique hotel. Very quiet and such a helpful couple running it. We were made welcome even though checking in late and were given a packed breakfast that we found waiting for us at 5.30am! on the morning we had to leave early for the ferry to Islay.

Good pub attached to hotel

Location: Location is effectively the road running parallel to the motorway. There were nothing else close by.
Hotel is very tired looking; however room was spacious and clean. The associated pub had good meals, and being a Friday night there was entertainment. It was fine for an overnight transitory stop.

Convenient for an overnight stay

Pros: Easy parking
Location: Not far from Stirling Castle
We booked here so we could visit Stirling Castle. We were able to park right outside our room, which was very convenient. The meal we had at the restaurant was very good value.
