The ac had to be on 64 to cool the rooms. Felt pretty humid inside. The lights where the 2 bed were didn’t work, door handles were coming off. The place wasn’t bad. Very close to the beach which is what we were looking for. Older place but nice area. Had may food options around. I’d give it 3/4 stars overall

Customer service was great… the room not so much. It was so dirty, lights weren’t working, remote control wasn’t working, the bed stinks, everything looked so run down. Wouldn’t recommend staying for the price.

It was a hassle finding the main office. The laundry/ice room has a terrible sewage smell extremely unpleasant!!!! All the pools were not clean and the rooms are out dated!!!

The neighborhood was great and it is an easy walk to the beach. There were several pools and the grounds were nice. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. It is an older building and the bathroom was not air conditioned sso go very hot. It could use an update.

I loved this property; our family suite was large enough for everyone. The grounds are beautiful, and the pool was fantastic. My only complaint was the floors could use a mopping, and the bathroom could use an update.

Our trip was a mix of vacation that transitioned into work. We've been back several times over the years. Management is accommodating and the value on their properties is unbeatable. If you are taking pictures of minor cracks etc. and posting bad reviews for properties like these, you are the problem. Don't listen to those reviews. It's easy to judge a place based on a zoomed in photo... but as people that travel several times a year, we are always blown away at how nice these places are for the price point (and don't get me started on how massive the rooms are!). If you are on the fence about any North beach village property, try it for one night! I promise it won't disappoint!

Private oasis. Walk to the beach in seconds!

All the North Beach Village properties are great and we LOVE coming back multiple times per year(to give you an idea.. we have over 50 stays here between myself and my fiance). In fact, this trip has put us in a unique position and we are deciding whether we want to relocate to Fort Lauderdale through the end of the year (because we are getting married in Miami this August!) While we had a hiccup this trip with customer service, it was immediately addressed by Amanda and it will not deter us from returning in the future. We understand this isn't the Ritz Carlton, but all of their properties are meant to feel like a welcoming community and that is what we expect (and get) when we come. I encourage everyone to checkout the North Beach Village Resort website and take a look at all 12(ish?) of their properties. They have everything from studios to HUGE penthouse units... and even at the largest room, the prices are incredible. Each unit on each property is unique from the ones before it which is why we love to bounce around between properties when we have longer trips. Again, the prices and location are unbeatable. If you do not book with them, you are doing yourself a disservice! Beach Gardens, specifically, we have found to be the most private. It near the corner of a quiet road with nearly no traffic 24/7. It is a 60 second walk to the beach from your front door. Being from NY, we haven't noticed the construction noise AT ALL! Trust me on that one!

The hotel is older, but reasonably well maintained. There were often no towels and in the week that I stayed the bed linens were only changed once and I had to request it. The bathroom was cursorily cleaned. One night a family had brought a dead pig, decapitated it cleaned it, and roasted it in front of one of the swimming pools. The party and use of the pool lasted well past dark with music and partying. The next day the area was not well cleaned and the garbage was overflowing. I will not likely return to this hotel.
