The perfect place to stay while waiting for your cruise. Short walk to beach and restaurants and close to main strip but far enough away that it’s quiet. We stayed for 3 nights with our kids and enjoyed 2 amazing days at the beach. Staff are friendly , beach chairs and towels were a nice bonus and the cookie was delicious!

Beach Hotel Near FLL

Was not informed at booking that the hotel was going to be full of spring breakers. Rowdy neighbors throughout the night. Front desk was unresponsive at addressing the issue. Was so bad we left a day early. Because we booked third-party (Expedia), the hotel was unwilling to provide a credit.

Property is dated - carpet is old in the room and smells. Main door kept sticking difficult to open at times. For the price -needs to be modernized Also hidden fees.

The experience was great for the most part. 99% of the staff was great; the reception area assisted me with printouts and deliveries. Janet and the Birthday Boy in the lobby bar were great, and we had a great time with Bryant (our fellow classic rock fan), Omar, and Will. Food was good. Only complaint was our room cleaner. Never showed up the first full day, so we had to request towel sets (which were promptly delivered). The room cleaner was across the hall when my husband went up to get something from in the room and saw him leave, so she knew the room was ready for cleaning. Not sure if she vacuumed, and when I went in to take a shower last night, there were long hairs in there that were definitely not my husband's, who showered before me, so I question if she actually cleaned. We also didn't get fresh facecloths a second time, requested them at the front desk and still never got them. TV was always off, and Do Not Disturb sign was never on the doorknob.

The common areas are very nice (the pool, the lobby). The rooms need some work, they are outdated and they are not as clean as I would like (there was some stain on the bathroom tile, bedsheets had stains too).

Chose this hotel because of the walkway over the street to the beach. But as it turned out, it wasn’t accessible to my wife who uses a rollator due to all the stairs. Room was average, no choice of firmness for the pillows, bed was uncomfortable. The location was excellent, however.

Due to the tardiness of the Bahia Mar, (4pm check in not ready till 5pm) and our 5:00pm event, we were forced to walk a mile @ 4:30pm, to our event with luggage and change clothing at the event's public restroom in order not to miss it. We walked back a mile after the event (@ 11:00pm) to finally get our room key.
