We chose this property due to the free shuttle service to/from the airport and cruise terminal. However the area has only one restaurant nearby (with limited hours and overpriced food). We had to walk a mile to a gas station/convenience store to buy our meals. When returning from the cruise ship, we had to wait five hours before a room was available despite the fact that we had reserved and paid for our room several months earlier. A staff member promised to contact us when a room was ready, but never did. There were numerous other cruise passengers that also had to wait outside for hours too. Property was clean but run down. Distinct marijuana smell around the pool and outside our room at night.

Light bulbs out, stool wouldn’t flush, heater unit wouldn’t start. Brought a new heater unit. Still didn’t work. Had to change rooms after we had unpacked very slow check-in . Staff friendly and helpful. Very limited food availability. Shuttle service very good.

Our room was disgusting. We aren’t one to complain, but yuck! Poop on the toilet, the floor was so dirty and our sheets did not look washed. I don’t think our room was cleaned in even the slightest. My husband refused to go back after our cruise for our overnight stay. The only thing going for that hotel is the gal in charge of getting people on the shuttle.

The wifi didn’t work at all in the room, the bed squeaked loud every time I moved, you can hear people partying outside until all hours. Check out is at 11 but the cleaning lady started staring in our window at 10am to see if we were gone or not. That said, the room was clean and the pool area looked nice.

Receptionist was not friendly. Instructions on how to find the room confusing. After a couple of wrong turns pulling luggage over hoses and finding the elevator I got to my room only to find I had a room key that did not work. Staff left me in and I was afraid to leave again because it was so far from Reception area to replace it. No lotion. No coffee. No Kleenex. No bedspread just a white sheet. No USB ports. No privacy shears. Positives clean and nice bright orange chairs to brighten the room.
