Best little hotel right on the beach!

We had a great experience at this hotel. I will say keep in mind that this hotel is an older hotel and a smaller hotel. Yes it did have some aesthetic flaws, but you could tell that the owners and staff put effort into the way it is presented. The courtyard was very nice and open. The rooms were very clean and the staff was excellent when we arrived the room they put us in. The air conditioner, was not working, however, quickly rectify the situation and put us in a nicer room that the air conditioner did work. For the price that we paid and still were less than a block away from the beach two blocks away from CVS and restaurants and shopping we were able to walk everywhere. Yes, the parking was slim however, the four days we were there we only couldn’t find parking one night. So my suggestion is park your car and walk or take an Uber. Overall, we had a great experience and we will definitely be back.

THE DRIFT HOTEL HAS BED BUGS. Bed bugs which left me itchy. Had to valet park my car at the hotel next to it because there wasn’t sufficient parking (9 spots). They refuse to give me a refund even though Expedia had to expense the OTHER hotel that I stayed in due to these bed bugs at the DRIFT HOTEL. THE DRIFT HOTEL HAS BED BUGS. The rooms are clean and big. The hotel is in a very nice area. The room cleaning process make the hotel looks like they are remodeling, you see cleaning products on the outdoor tables, towels on the chairs and toilet brush on the rooms tables.

I only stayed for one night, but location was great and walkable to the main restaurant areas. it was good for the price. very thin walls, i heard my upstairs neighbors walking and talking all night. probably wouldn't stay here more than a night or two but good budget hotel.

They need more parking options for their guests. I had to pay $50 for overnight parking in a parking garage quite a ways from the hotel because of the limited parking.

This is a place to rest your head in walking distance from the beach. You will get scammed and they will not refund your 100$ deposit and will not answer the phone when you try to call about it. Disputing it with my credit card. The room smelled like chemicals and the bed was very uncomfortable. Very noisy and the TV did not work. Staff was not very friendly and people smoke right outside your doorway. Also the AC DOES NOT do the job at night. Overall not a great night of sleep but it’s SO close to the beach and walking distance to several restaurants so the location is perfect.Would not recommended a long stay but if you want a place to lay your head for the night or you don’t care about mold then this is ok. Oh and there are only about 8 parking spots so good luck.

This room is not intended for a long stay. The location is ideal however the room leaves a lot to be desired. The TV didn’t work, no phone to call for help. No one at the desk after 9. If you consider staying here please do not do an extended stay
