Nice stay

Conveniently located walking distance from Las Olas while still being away from the business of the strip. The outside of the hotel looks a bit dated but i was pleasantly surprised once i entered the room. Very cozy and affordable.

Nice room, reasonably priced for the location

Being an older building, the hotel is nothing special from the outside but is 1 block from the beach and the room was spacious and clean, with a kitchenette, midsize fridge, and microwave. When we entered the room, it was already cool from the air conditioning and spotlessly clean. Entry is controlled by a passcode on the room’s door lock which the hotel staff provides for you. Since we booked via hotels.com, the email containing the passcode never arrived but I called ahead to alert the hotel if our late arrival (after 4 pm) and they provided the check-in instructions with passcode. Since there is no formal checkout process, we left before the 10:00 AM checkout time and hopefully the fact that the door was locked electronically from outside indicated we left before the required checkout time. The only complaint is that in the morning, we saw a roach in the kitchenette but otherwise the room was excellent.
