We were allowed to check in early. Big windows! Practically on the runway! We spent the day enjoying the action of the planes taking off & landing! Dinner at their restaurant was wonderful! The hotel staff got us a luggage trolley the next morning. My husband had had an accident and was having trouble walking so it was great to be steps away from the check-in desk. We’d definitely go back!

Only the Location Delivers I booked the Sheraton CDG for its unbeatable convenience before an early flight, and thankfully convenience is the one thing this hotel gets right. Everything else feels like it’s coasting on the Sheraton name. Check-in set the tone: the concierge was helpful, but reception staff were slow, disengaged, and seemed irritated at basic questions. Not exactly the welcome you expect at this price point. The room was clean and quiet, but don’t be fooled by the promise of “runway views.” Mine looked mostly onto taxiways—great if you love staring at empty pavement, less exciting if you were hoping for airplane action. Dining was where things really fell apart. Lunch cost €99 for three very ordinary dishes, and service was glacial. I asked for the bill and waited fifteen minutes while staff walked past as though I wasn’t there. Dinner followed the same pattern: expensive, slow, and oddly chaotic. I watched the drink I ordered do a tour of the dining room before disappearing entirely; the one I eventually received wasn’t even the right drink. On top of that, the hotel couldn’t link my loyalty number to my stay, which meant downgraded Wi-Fi and no benefits. Attempts to fix it were met with a half-hearted shrug. Bottom line: If you need to sleep inside the airport, this hotel works. But for service, value, it misses the mark. I’d stay again only if my flight time forced me to—otherwise I’d look elsewhere.
