Ten Hill Place May 2025

It was a great hotel with good service and excellent breakfast. The only down sidep was we had to do laundry as we had been on the road for at least a week and needed clean clothes foe thw next 3 weeks. Cost for cleaning basic things was astronomical! Our cleaning bill was the equivalent of a night's stay! It just isn't right to gouge guests for necessary services.

Ballet break.

Excellent customer service from all the staff, special mention to the lovely lady who checked us in. Very well located for the ballet theatre. Bit of a walk into centre. Rooms lovely and spacious and great shower with gorgeous temple spa products.

Loved the bed, clean fresh ironed sheets, very comfortable for me. Bathroom abit dated. Loved there was a Safe, and Fridge in the room. Wasn't happy with TV as I booked a room with smart wall built big TV and I got a room with a dated TV standing on a table and not enough channels plus I couldn't cast anything to watch.

They treated us as “ugly Americans”. Room was small and cramped on top floor away from everything. Hotel is poorly laid out where you had to taken different elevators to different floors to find your room. When we expressed our strong disappointment it took a lot of effort to change rooms saying we expected too much as Americans. Our new room was much better and what one would expect at a good hotel. The person we first dealt with at the hotel was condescending. I would not go back and would not go through Expedia if we are treated so poorly.

The area around this hotel is really doggy. I walked around the corner to get some groceries and all of a sudden I was like where did all of these homeless people come from and why are the all behind this hotel?

Great location

Pros Clean My standard room was a very decent size Bed was comfy Shower was huge, with great water pressure Good selection of complimentary teas, coffees and hot chocolate (biscuits too!) Location really good for exploring Well stocked gym Loads of plug sockets Handy side table with comfortable chair (which included footstool) Hairdryer sufficient for long hair In shower hair products and gels were of good quality. Cons Air-con was terrible (thank god I could open windows) House keeping shut windows, which resulted in a very warm room. Didn’t clock that I qualified for complementary upgrade and free drinks until the evening of my last night of stay, by that point there was no point in moving rooms. But enjoyed the free drinks. Lifts were confusing to many. Fridge wasn’t very cold. USB ports under TV didn’t work Other Didn’t try breakfast or any food so can’t comment, but the location had great options for eating out and convenience stores.

Property is very central. Staff superb. For the room rate I would have expected breakfast but at £15 per head it was excellent. Lack of affordable parking. Not the hotels problem but added £51 to a 2 day stay.

Our room was small but very clean, quiet, and comfortable. Nice bed and pillows. Climate control and lighting were very good. Breakfast in the on-site restaurant was excellent. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Location was very convenient while being in a fairly quiet neighborhood. Parking was available another corner for an extra charge, but was reasonable and safe. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
