We really enjoyed our stay at Point A in Edinburgh. Good location, lots within walking distance. Staff was friendly and helpful when we had questions or needed water bottles filled. The room is quite small, but has everything you would need and the layout is well planned given the small space. Very reasonable price!

Good hotel in the city centre walkable to the main sights attractions within 15-20 min range. Rooms could offer more but the hotel was quiet and staff were nice. The bathroom door sadly didn’t close properly and had a gap in it which wasn’t good for privacy, otherwise everything else was comfortable.

The room was very clean and the beds were comfortable and it was quiet. It's always good if there is water available in a hotel room and there was no water. I would suggest putting a source of water, at least somewhere on the floor, so guests can access it. Less important but still nice, is to be have the ability to make a cup of tea or coffee in the room. This was not offered, and it makes a difference when judging where to stay.

Clean and modern hotel .polite and friendly staff. Arrived back late after concert coffee machine was getting cleaned staff apologised as it would take 10 min . gave us a token for free coffee for inconvenience. With in walking distance to Haymarket train station, tram and bus stops to take you into City center. Plenty of cafes and restaurants in sounding area.

Our air conditioning broke and started suddenly leaking a lot of water, I went down immediately to inform the staff. They were very quick in getting us moved to a different room which was good if a bit annoying, by the time I went back to move our stuff to the new room there was a large puddle on the floor. We were moved quickly which was good, but meant that we were hurried in getting our things and ended up leaving some clothes by accident. I went down to talk to staff the next day and was told housekeeping had already cleaned the room and they hadn't given any clothes to the lost property. Quite infuriating to have to move room due to a leakage, then to also lose our clothes as well. I was told to go back the next day incase they showed up, they did not. The staff were very helpful during the night when we had to be moved, but I was quite disappointing with the lack of care and effort in the morning when I was trying to get our possessions back

Staff were very welcoming and helpful who went out there to assist us. Room was clean although a bit on the small side. Location suited us as it was close to the town centre, shops and restaurants. Downside was the bathroom as it was a bit compact and not entirely visible on the photos of the hotel.

Almost Nirvana when it comes to Budget Hotels!!!

Very nice and very clean hotel; close to many places and very close to all transport such as Airport and castle and museums as well as food establishments! Competitive prices and great breakfast… they may have early check in if a room is available! Also convenient late check out for 15 Brit-Pds! Front desk staff are friendly and always in a good mood!
