Comfortable/pleasant room close to everything

Pros: Location, location, location and the warmth from the staff - all requests taken care off.
Our room was adequate in size - not large enough for a 3rd person. It was at the corner of Bank and St Glies Street on the first floor (Rm 407). Beautiful heavy drapes but no privacy blinds for the bedroom during the day. We kept the blind down all of the time in the bathroom perfect for during the day but you can see outlines as to what people are doing when the light is on of a night. Room very clean. Very professional but friendly staff on reception. Loved the location and would not hesitate to book it again.

In centre of old town

Pros: Nothing to be honest but location was central
Good position but the room was small smelly and unbearably hot . No air conditioning and next to a laundry they gave us a fan which was useless. The room was in the bowels of the building and a noisy restaurant ten metres away , a horrible experience

Comfortable base to explore Old Town

Pros: It's heritage and it's cleanliness came second to the impeccable service of the staff.
Cons: Guest laundry service
Location: Great location only steps away from attractions and medieval history
Beautifully appointed, the accommodation was comfortable and provided a convenient vase for our 5-day stay in Edinburgh.

Excellent location for Edinburgh stay

Pros: Location, room style and spacious high ceiling.
Cons: I did not like the airfreshner that they used in the hotel public areas - found this a bit overpowering and think they need to tone this down.
Location: Close to everything - you can walk across the bridge to the new town.
We recently stayed at Fraser suites for a week long visit to Edinburgh. We would thoroughly recommend this hotel. Location is central as other reviews have advised and it is close to everything. We had a junior suite and this was excellent - giving us an extra sitting room with sitting room and additional tv. The small kitchenette was great as we were able to save on breakfasts during the stay. It was so nice being able to wake up each morning with the sound of bagpipes playing just around the corner, but it was not intrusive in any way. I booked the property after reading the reviews and was not disappointed. Would definately recommend and would stay again on any future visit.

Perfect location

Pros: The room was very clean and the bathroom was perfect.
Cons: We found the room to be a bit too small for our liking . The restaurant was nothing special, we preferred to have breakfast at the cafe next door
Edinburgh is a fabulous city to explore, the people are very friendly and there are lots of things to do and explore.
