This fantastic apartment is located in the Grassmarket area of Edinburgh just a stones through from Edinburgh Castle and the Royal Mile. There are a great selection of pubs, restaurants, antique shops etc on your doorstep. This apartment is available for Self Catering & Holiday Lets, Short Term & Corporate Lets, City & Weekend Breaks and the Festival.

The apartment has been stylishly decorated throughout and consists of two double bedrooms, one a very large master bedroom. The good size living room contains a large corner sofa and is open to the fully equipped brand new modern kitchen, which has a breakfast table.
There is a winding staircase to get to the front door so the apartment is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with mobility issues.

Absolutely excellent location, & beautiful flat...exactly as pictured. And Gavin was brilliant, letting us check in early. There are spiral stairs, as stated in description of flat, & it is in a busy area, lots of pubs, so there will be noise...also very clear in description. Wonderful waterfall shower!!! And there is a bit of a castle view, which we didn't expect! The one & only suggestion I have, is to raise the bedframes a bit....comfy beds, loved the sheets, but they are low enough to make it a beat difficult to get out of. But, not a problem big enough to mark down for. Thanks, Gavin! You, your flat &, of course, Edinburgh were absolutely wonderful!

Location. Location. Location. But that is obvious. This flat was so comfortable. Beds were cozy with the best comforters. Kitchen was stocked with everything you can imagine. Not only a washer but a dryer, too! Living area had plenty of seating. Whole place felt “tight” and warm. Other posts talked about street noise - well you are in the grass market. People are out and having fun. I didn’t feel like it was a nuisance. I felt safe, too. Be ready for the stairs. Just pretend you’re in your own castle. The property binder was full of information. Gavin was only a message or phone call away. We would definitely stay here again.

Slight hiccup at check in but Gavin resolved it impressively quickly. Great first floor location within Edinburgh old town. The flat was warm and comfortable. It is an old characterful building and the flat reflects but the beds were comfortable and clean and the bathroom and kitchen modern and clean. Little noise at night but you’d expect that from a central location. I would recommend.

First and foremost, NOT A GROUND FLOOR FLAT as advertised in title. It’s my bad for not reading all the way to the end of the full description where it states there are stairs (32 of them in a very narrow spiral staircase, plus the 4 just to enter the building). Very misleading! This was not convenient when you’re transporting 60lb suitcases and a 4’x2’x3’ bike case (because husband was racing in France), or in my particular situation, a bad knee. Once you get in to the flat, all is well. Very cozy with lots of old world charm. Bath and kitchen upgraded very tidy. Great views. Location is in the middle of old town. Groceries are a bit of a walk, but not too bad. If you are in the younger side and enjoy a very lively pub scene at night, this is your place. It gets pretty noisy late at night. But we wore earplugs and slept just fine. Host was communicative and provided plenty of keys. I would however recommend proving operation manuals for large appliances for those of us who come in from other countries.

Great location within walking distance to pretty much all the big local attractions. Flat was great and well maintained and the communication with Gavin was awesome. Only drawback was the noise level at night. Awesome spot for anyone looking to take advantage of all Edinburgh had to offer.

Things I liked about the flat. It was roomy and comfortable. Good shower and comfortable beds. Great location right on the Grassmarket with lots of restaurants and shops. Perfect for walking to Edinburgh castle, Royal Mile and catching the tram to Brittania.Things I didn’t like-street & restauarnt noise. Needs room darknening curtains. Difficult to operate stovetop.

Wish we could have stayed longer!

Comfortable and safe 2BR apt in amazing location (Victoria St and Grassmarket). Note: Apt is on 1st floor (not ground level) and entrance is up a flight of narrow/tight spiral staircase. Also, due to it's location (near many lively pubs), it can be quite noisy. The apt was ideal for our family with two teens needing separate beds. Walking distance to everything -- and the hop-on-off bus stop just across the street. Hope to visit again!

Fantastic location! This property is located right on Victoria Street (Diagon Alley!) and within a super easy walking distance of the Royal Mile and literally everything. You absolutely cannot beat this spot! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Access to the flat was super easy and our host was helpful and communicative. The space was very comfortable and had pretty much everything we needed. We also really appreciated the snacks left for us. Thank you! Only a few minor negatives, because it is in a popular area, there can be some street/alleyway noise at night. Also, if you have mobility issues, the only way to access the flat is by a flight of stairs. Would definitely stay here again.
