For the price this hotel was perfect. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. So close to the the railway station and shops/ pubs restaurants. Breakfast was plentiful and relaxing no queue. Bedroom was spacious and spotlessly clean.A treat was the beautiful chocolates left in the room for valentines day, such a lovely touch.

Brilliant location just a few minutes walk to Waverley station and the bus stop for the airport. Great hotel Good size room, clean. well maintained and a comfortable bed. Good breakfast though no hot food provided. Only negative point is the lack of security as reception is on the first floor and there is nothing stopping people entering the hotel and accessing the bedroom floors.

Can’t beat the location. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The bar/restaurant on floor 1 was nice and had a great vibe. Room was small and was given a queen bed instead of a king, but the view of the city and Calton Hill made up for it.

They greeted us with warmth and genuine hospitality, making us feel like valued guests from start to finish. To our delight, we were surprised with a complimentary room upgrade – a wonderful gesture that truly made our anniversary even more memorable. The room was not only stylish and comfortable but also had incredible views of the city, which was a perfect way to start each day. The location is ideal, right in the heart of Edinburgh, with easy access to shopping, restaurants, and the iconic sights of the city.
