I wish to formally express my dissatisfaction with the unavailability of the main pool/water park area at this resort during the entirety of my family’s eight day stay due to scheduled maintenance. Proper notice was not provided at the time of my booking and I was not made aware of this major deficiency until my check in. The primary reason I chose this resort for my family was the extensive main pool area in the center of the property, and also the reason I upgraded to a patio room directly facing this pool area. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the front desk management, they offered shuttle services to a secondary pool at their golf course property. I found this commuting option to be unsatisfactory. They also stated that the main pool area would be reopening two days prior to my departure and this did not happen. The pool maintenance was subsequently further delayed until after my departure. Given that this major advertised amenity was not properly available, I believe a partial refund or credit towards a future stay is appropriate.

Staff was fine but the room and the resort in general was run down and dirty. Stains on the furniture and curtains, hair in the shower, bugs. Very institutional looking resort with no warmth. Needs upgrades. Extremely disappointed for a Hilton.

Expedia, you didn’t inform us about not having the gym or the pool available the whole time we were there. The whole time we were there they were repairing the pool so there were always loud construction all day from 8:30 in the morning to 5:30 in the evening. Because of that, there was hardly no resting in the mornings. Also, we were never told that the gate at the beach locks at 6:15 PM every day. We were locked out on the beach by ourselves and had to call someone to open the gate because we were on unaware of their policy of locking the gates. Because of the snowstorm. We had to check out a day early because the airline advised us to do so. We also missed out on a whole day because of weather.

Pool and hot tub was closed for construction was not notified yet still charged $300 a night for a suite that was infested with ants! The bathroom looked like a 1980s laundry room. Breakfast was horrible, this is a 2 star motel at tops, all amenities they offer close at sundown. I expected a Hilton brand experience, Instead I felt like I stayed at a motel 6 will never return stay away!!

Room was in great condition but construction of the main pool and work out facility made stay a little less enjoyable than is should have been. The cleaning staff / maid service (our person for room 170) was amazing

this is not a bad hotel but it's definitely dated for a Hilton. Also the beach is underwhelming,and the bugs WILL bite you. If you can go stay at el Conquistador.
