My Honest Review of Arecibo Inn – First-Time Stay This was my first time staying at the Arecibo Inn, and I wanted to share some feedback based on my experience. Overall, I had a decent stay, and there were definitely some positives along with areas that could use improvement. Staff & Service: The supervisor was very kind and accommodating—not just to me, but also to my mother, aunt, and cousins who were all staying at the inn. One staff member stood out in particular: a sweet young lady with dark skin and a small bun/ponytail who has worked there for a long time. Her kindness made a big impression. Rooms: The room my mother and I stayed in was okay—not the best, but not terrible either. The bed was comfortable, which was a plus. However, the armoire where the TV was placed had quite a bit of dust, and the curtains also needed cleaning. On the other hand, I visited my cousin’s room on the first floor, which had been recently renovated—it was beautiful! My mom and aunt stayed on the second floor, and the stairs were difficult for them, which is something to consider for guests with mobility concerns. Amenities: The pool area was very inviting, and the laundry services were convenient. Inside the building was consistently clean and had a fresh scent every time we walked in, which was appreciated. The outdoor music by the pool created a nice atmosphere. Breakfast: The complimentary breakfast was okay, but I do think the menu could use more variety. Every day, it was the same

We checked in at 8 PM and checked out early at 7 AM. The front desk staff during both check-in and check-out were friendly and helpful, which was appreciated. However, the breakfast experience was lacking. We arrived around 7:10 AM, but none of the staff acknowledged us,even though we walked right past them. We had to ask for assistance, and only then were we told that eggs, ham, and fries had to be requested at the front. That’s fine, but a simple sign would’ve helped avoid confusion. The coffee wasn't ready,it was still brewing,which is disappointing since breakfast was supposed to start at 7. There was also no butter or spreads available for making a sandwich, although one staff member was kind enough to get us some when asked. On a positive note, the eggs did come out quickly once we ordered them. The room and overall decor were basic, which was expected for the $90 price. However, the mattress was a major issue,it sagged badly in the middle, making it extremely uncomfortable for two people. It felt like we were rolling into each other all night, and I barely got any sleep. The walls were paper-thin, so we could hear everything from neighboring rooms and the busy street outside. We also stopped by the bar, but there was no bartender present, so we ended up not ordering anything. Overall, if they upgraded the mattresses and ensured the breakfast staff had everything ready at the stated start time, I would’ve rated this 4 stars, especially considering the budget price.

Recomiendo este hotel ya que es bueno bonito y barato, es excelente tiene desayuno incluido y las piscinas excelentes, mi única crítica son las habitaciones de la parte superior ya que las paredes de las habitaciones no son en cemento escuchas todo, lo que pase en la habitación del lado lo escuchas lo que pasa en el pasillo lo escuchas y si te toca en las escaleras principales olvidate que lo menos que vas es a descansar si es que eso buscas, por lo demas es muy bueno.

Terrible experience, I Felt insecure, the door had a hold next to the door know. No microwave was available No hot water to take a bath Smell like mildew or old sitting water No elevator, Breakfast was different than any place I been before. Walls are paper-thin. A very difficult place to sleep. You can hear the entire conversation of people in the hallway and in the rooms next door. Even a couple having sex could be heard completely and in detail, which was very unpleasant. And the room itself, not very clean and the toilet looked like a rocking chair. First & last time for me. Please give a little bit of Love to this property. The place was about am overall 2star hotel, The only positive thing is, front desk people very friendly.
