The room was not anything like the pictures. The pull out bed /chair looked like it was dug out of the trash! Rips on it.. stains on the towels.. the patio flooded. Also first morning waking up to police presence at the hotel do to a disturbance with other guests. Should not be called Dream Inn but maybe Nightmare Inn. Do not recommend this place at all. We ended up going to another hotel and checking out early. So I wasted money on a place that was not worth it!

We love staying at the Dream Inn. It is perfect for us. Right on the beach, with a refreshing pool for when the waves in the ocean are too rough. The patio deck is perfect for people watching while having breakfast or lunch. It is in a quiet part of Daytona beach with a couple of eateries within walking distance. The rates compared to other places makes this affordable for us so we stay a few more days than we would at another place. The rooms are clean, the staff is friendly. We kinda want to keep this place a secret.

I believe that ownership or management has changed hands recently, and the gentleman now running this establishment treats his guests very poorly. He was extraordinarily rude and aggressive, even using foul language. This has been a place that I have stayed many times over the years (even through the renovations and closed pool) but will never stay at again. I will not line the pockets of someone like this. If you can, find somewhere else to stay.

My stay at this hotel was extremely disappointing from start to finish. First of all, I was charged $180 for an alleged smoking violation, which is completely unacceptable because I do not smoke at all. This charge was unfair, unjustified, and feels like nothing more than a scam. When I called to dispute the charge, the experience became even more frustrating. The front desk employee did not even know my room number, despite the fact that I was currently staying at the hotel. If they cannot even correctly identify a guest’s room, how can they confidently claim that a smoking violation occurred? This entire situation felt like a complete rip-off. The room itself was in terrible condition. The beds were dirty and sandy, making it uncomfortable to sleep. There was a bucket collecting water near the air conditioner, which clearly showed a lack of maintenance. The trash can was broken, the curtains were torn, and everything looked old, worn out, and poorly maintained. The amenities were also disappointing. The towels were extremely small, there was no sugar for the coffee, and there wasn’t even ice available in the room. What makes this even worse is that the photos on the hotel’s website are completely misleading. The property shown online looks nothing like the actual hotel. In reality, everything appears deteriorated, outdated, and in poor condition. Between the poor cleanliness, lack of maintenance, misleading advertising, and the completely unjustified $180 charge, this

Well for starters what I did like was they had a LED light right by the door for security which is good but the door is a glass door so the light was on it's just like daylight in the room all night long and I did not sleep well and I was there for 4 days number two the parking you have a 28 room hotel and only 14 parking spaces that means when you park somebody's going to park behind you and you have to go get them when you get ready to go out and come back in or when they get ready to move you've got to go move your vehicle not good I will never stay at this hotel again

While the hotel could use some modernization, the owners definitely work hard at keeping the place up. Room was clean and tidy and everything worked. Most importantly the AC. Right on the beach, you can drive on to the beach right from the hotel. The parking could definitely be better. I would stay again. Great value for the money.

If you are looking at the photos to this hotel just know those are extremely outdated! The pool was extremely small and dirty, same with the sun bathing chairs and just the property in general looks very ran down. Definitely a 0/10 stay.. the staff must live on property because anytime you needed someone they were not at a desk you had to call a number and then he would walk down. I even went to the store to buy my own cleaning supplies to clean the room for the night. It is right on the beach so that’s a plus but 100% not worth the money or stay. Hopefully they can get back to the beautiful pictures posted of their property

The room was very run down with a strange smell when we checked in. They scanned my drivers license and credit card then GAVE ME someone ELSES card information. When I complained checking out they said that it was from “seven years ago” when the card had not even expired yet. When I called to inquire about a late check in the man was very rude on the phone. The only plus was the bed was comfy.

I would not stay here again due to the bed bugs. He placed me in a new room but same thing - more bugs. The owner was unsympathetic and accusatory that I brought bed bugs. I left my stay early with no consolation. I was left itching severely, disappointed in the owners’ callousness and frustrated that I had lost sleep and vacation time over choosing the wrong accommodation.
