When I booked the room it stated they had breakfast, but they literally had 4 , 2 setter tables set up. The breakfast was very minimal. The room was okay. It was clean. The bathroom was also clean, but the bathroom counter was very low, and the toilet was also not the standard one. It was small. It looked as if they flipped the hotel very quickly and used what was available.

The room was huge with a king bed & separate sofa/sitting area. The views of the beach & sunrise were spectacular. There is a gate to diectlt access the beach. There is also a nice pool & hottub. Unfortunately, the riki bar wasn't open. Otherwise, great stay@

I love the beach access and friendly staff. But the room was gross, the bathroom sink and mirror were corroded and there was a cockroach running around on the counter. Blankets are pretty thin, I was cold even with the heater on (the heater didn't feel very warm). The lobby was giving nursing home vibes.

The room was absolutely filthy. The stench of marijuana permeated the property the whole time we were there. There was spilled, dried milk in the refrigerator with a dead bug in the refrigerator. There was trash and sunflower seeds under the bed. When they sent the maid up to look at it, she had a bat attitude and replied she had already cleaned the room. The mirror in the bathroom and the outside of the refrigerator looked like they have been wiped with a filthy rag. She made me think she was coming back, but she never returned. Finally around seven, I asked again and they sent a very kind maintenance man up to clean it. He agreed it was totally unacceptable. I took pictures after we bought cleaning supplies and cleaned half of the mirror and half the refrigerator ourselves to show the difference. I would never recommend this property to anyone.

It was an ok room, but the location and ocean front balcony views made up for what the hotel lacked. It's a little dated, but the staff was friendly and very accommodating. I'd stay there again and would recommend giving it a shot

Room was sufficient for the three of us. Good views. Though hot water was an issue. We had about 2 minutes of mild hot water then gone. This was on 7th floor. So shower quickly. Breakfast was not much either. This was the lowest cost hotel in area so we got what we paid for.

Emerald Shores is an older property but it was clean. I knew from other reviews what to expect. Breakfast is packs of cereal, muffins, breakfast bars and yogurt with most taking up to their room because the area is so small. We were on the 8th floor and the view was beautiful. It is so convenient that we were right on the beach. The outside fire pits don’t work and the hot tub had a hard time keeping up so it was cold some of the time. It was quiet (the room and that area of the beach). We were only given 2 towels so had to ask for more right away since there were 4 of us. Nice for a couple days to enjoy Daytona Beach.
