The room wasn’t cleaned as well as should be. Candy wrappers in the drawers and trash under beds. Cobwebs and very dusty walls and pictures from AC. They were painting so place smelled strong of paint. Not much lighting outside and none around pool/hot-tub area. Found bug in bed and freaked me out thinking bedbugs but it was wasn’t. No one seemed concerned at all. For the price and area I just excepted better.

Great value
I would definitely recommend this hotel. It is so peaceful and quiet. Yet you have an ocean view. You can walk to multiple dining areas as well as hiking trails. There's also the beach access. Customer service was great. The one bummer is that there's no microwaves in the room. However there is a refrigerator. The room is a great size. This location is ideal. You are close to everything, including the freeway. I will definitely be coming back.

Don’t count on breakfast or an updated nice hotel
The hotel is very old and needs a remodel. The breakfast was just a bunch of bagels and cereal- carbs- not healthy and little choice and no protien. I wouldn’t pay for this ‘breakfast’ again. The hotel was sort of clean. Staff was friendly and great location.

I was very disappointed in the poor condition of the shower/tub area. There was long gap, about 12" × 1/4" where the shower surround was open; water was clearly leaking into the wall. Another chunk of caulking, about 1/2" ×2" was gone, leaving another port for water to leak into the wall. The bed was very comfortable, and the sliding doors on the Marina side, made it nice to have the ocean breeze in the room. Staff were very nice, and accommodating; I was offerred a different room, but the tub and shower maintenance had issues in that room as well so I stayed put. I hope the owners will see the value in this property and start refurbishing it before water damage makes it too costly. The location of this hotel is perfect for walking to shops, docks, restaurants and more.

Across parking lot from the docks. It's a nice place. It looks like they are staring to do interior painting. The room I had didn't have an ocean view. But I spent most of the time outside.
