We were assigned a room with a broken bed it smelt like smoke. It was absolutely disgraceful for the price we stayed at the Springhill and it was the same price in the room was 10 times bigger clean neat and the staff was excellent.

Cuando llegamos a registrarnos no estaba el recepcionista y tuvimos que esperar a el, tratamos de llamar antes de nuestra llegada para avisar que llegaríamos tarde y nadie atendió la llamada. La habitaciones que nos dieron estaba junto al elevador y toda la noche hizo ruido . Desayuno decente. Además había otros huéspedes muy gritones que no dejaban dormir.

The tv didn’t work when I got to my room. And there are never enough outlets in hotel rooms. The breakfast was sad. The fried eggs, not scrambled, were rubbery, the sausage patty was luke-warm, they were out of waffle batter and when I told the lady working she said “I know, give me a second” then disappeared. No tongs to grab muffins or mini donuts so I steered clear of those as I am sure lots of other hands touched them. And I was there at 730am for breakfast! So it’s not like I went at the “end” and they had run out of things… the check-in guy when you first came in was really awkward. He was asking me what brought me to town. As a woman traveling alone I didn’t feel comfortable answering that question. He was also the one that had to come to my room later to “fix” my tv…he looked at my bed when he walked in…it was uncomfortable, like he was noticing if i had anyone else traveling with me based on what I had unpacked in the room.

Really liked the newly renovated areas. However there was no curtains on window, only cheap and broken mini blinds which did nothing to block sound nor light. Toilet paper holder was broken. Coffee pot did not work. Neither Television worked as they both said no subscription available on the cable channels. Overall, it was a really bad experience.

This hotel is not in the safest part of town and there were issues with unauthorized people trying to enter rooms. The outside doors were not locked, and no key was required to enter even though they were designed to be locked. The security latch on my door and my neighbor's door ere damaged in the past and were not secure. I was able to get a duplicate key twice without showing an ID. The hotel is well work and in need of update. The room was limited to 66 degrees on the thermostat but never cooled down to that point.
